You Are Next in Line – Beloved Women – June 29, 2023

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

When will my time come?  This is a question that I often cry out to God on a regular basis. Sound familiar?  In life, many times I’ve felt that I’ve been next in line for a new opportunity to manifest.  I have felt overlooked and discouraged because outcomes and opportunities did not evolve within the timetable that I created in my mind.  After I’ve cried many tears, God reminds me that He has not forgotten about me.  The good news is that God has not forgotten about you while you are waiting. 

You don’t want to jump the line in God’s plan for your life. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us that God orders our steps and it is essential to commit our plans to God.  Your “next in line” prayer may be for a job, marriage, relationship, or clearer purpose. God will call your name when it’s time and according to His specific purpose. Don’t grow weary while you are waiting.  Be encouraged to know that God’s plan for your life is good and fruitful. 

PRAY

Dear God, thank you for wanting what is best for my life at all times.  In times when I have felt overlooked and discouraged, remind me of your promise that your plans are always to prosper and not to harm me. You have not forgotten about me and know me by name. For this, I give you praise.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

REFLECT

Is there a time that you have felt overlooked for an opportunity?  Name it to God in prayer and ask for a renewed sense of hope.
