God is not bound by anything you hear, see, touch, or think. He is not bound by anything. He will not be contained within a box of your understood definition of Him. Aren’t you glad? He is limitless beyond imagination!
One day, several years ago, I was walking and talking with God. I had just returned home to GA from WA after having met my earthly father’s family for the first time. My earthly father died when I was 14-years-old. I never knew him. I felt glad to have met my father’s family, but I also felt like I met my father for the first time in that I felt like I “knew” him now through the stories his family told about him. I became more sad than I ever thought possible because I never knew him. As I began to grieve the loss of my earthly father for the first time, I asked God. “Father, I wish You were here in flesh form so I could sit down with you and have a cup of coffee and look into Your face and talk to You and listen to You like a father and daughter do on earth. Why do You have to be such a mystery, Father?” I asked.
Instantly, God spoke deep within me. “Kristina, if I could be explained, I could be unexplained.”
