God’s Plan is Not Our Plan – Beloved Women – April 8, 2020
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: When I was in sixth grade, I knew what college I wanted to attend. I knew what career I wanted to pursue. I knew what age I thought would be ideal to get married. I knew I wanted to marry a basketball player. I held onto these plans until real life happened — and not like I thought it would.
God has a plan for our lives that is not necessarily our desired plan. In these instances, it is important that we have and keep the faith. Even if our faith is the size of a mustard seed, we must remain prayerful that God will supply our needs and lead us to and through His journey. God will not lead us into danger or strife. God will not lead us where He cannot watch over and protect us.
When God redirects your life, hold to His unchanging hand. Learn to surrender your plan for His will. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. God only wants the best for you.
PRAY: Dear God, allow me to let You lead. Help me to not be fearful of the journey or scared of the destination. I know that all things work together when I believe. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
REFLECT: What is stopping me from letting go and letting God have His way in my life?
SHARE: God only wants the best for you.
