Unique Cover Of 'Unchained Melody' From Home Free's Austin Brown

Enjoy this melodious sound as Austin Brown belts out the words to ‘Unchained Melody’ with Steven Martinez on guitar. This love song was a hit for The Righteous Brothers back in 1965.

The classic song was even inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame. Now, these two talented artists are putting their own unique spin on the country classic.

“Oh, my love, my darling
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time
Time goes by so slowly”

You may recognize Austin as a member of the acapella group Home Free. We met this musical group when they competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013. Other members include Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance and they’ve become viral sensations with their covers of hit songs such as ‘Ring Of Fire’ and ‘How Great Thou Art.’

2020 was an interesting year for people all across the globe. And while the pandemic forced Home Free to stop their tour, it allowed Austin time to discover himself as a solo artist.

He used these unprecedented times to create his own originals and cover songs and they are absolutely incredible.

Today, Austin is venturing out with an awe-inspiring performance of ‘Unchained Melody’ by The Righteous Brothers. Joined by Steven Martinez on guitar, Austin beautifully belts out these iconic words.

“And time can do so much
Are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
God speed your love to me”

This song always hits close to home and this unique performance might be one of my favorites.
