A Past That Proclaims Grace - iBelieve Christian Devotional for Women

I imagine we all have things in our past we'd rather others not know and maybe that we ourselves would like to forget. For almost two decades, I lived as disconnected from my past as possible.

I imagine we all have things in our past we'd rather others not know and maybe that we ourselves would like to forget.

For almost two decades, I lived as disconnected from my past as possible. And I didn't really like encountering people who knew me during my self-destructing days.

I didn't want to be reminded of who I'd once been. Plus, those interactions inevitably brought shame as I was certain my past remained on their mind as well.

But God didn't call me to a life of avoidance, silence, or shame. He called me to a life of bold, confident impact.

In Him, we have nothing to hide and no reason for shame.
