A Prayer for Open Doors and New Opportunities

We may not always be able to see ahead in everything God is doing. We may not always understand His ways or timing, but we can be confident of this: He is at work.

Always.

It may not seem like it at times. Maybe we’ve struggled with feeling forgotten. Maybe we’ve believed the lie that God doesn’t care about our situation. Maybe sometimes we think we’ve lost time, missed opportunities, or blown chances along the way. We might feel as if we’ve walked through too many broken years of pain, imagining God could never work through all those hardships.

But His truth reminds us that His faithfulness and power have no end. And His ability to work in us, through us, is not all up to us. We can trust in His Sovereignty and His ways.

If the way seems unclear right now, keep your eyes on the One who is more powerful than we could ever imagine. He is the God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for Him. We can trust Him to do what seems impossible to us.

A Prayer for God to Lead The Way:

A Prayer for God to Lead The Way:

Dear God,

Thank you for your great love and blessing over our lives. Thank you that your favor towards your children has no end. It lasts for eternity through the richness and power of Christ. Forgive us for sometimes forgetting that you are intimately acquainted with all our ways, that you know what concerns us and you cover us, as with a shield.

It's hard sometimes to fully let go of worries when we can't see all that you’re doing Lord. We confess our need for you because we struggle with trusting when we know that our circumstances are in need of a miracle by your hand.

But again we choose to believe, for it's in these very times where you are at work, reminding us that without you, it is truly impossible. Thank you for being the One who gives the power, the One who can open the right doors, the One who can make things possible. It leaves us nowhere to look but to you alone.

We ask for your guidance so that we might walk fully in your blessing and goodness today. We ask for your face to shine on us. We pray that you would open the right doors and opportunities for our lives and for our loved ones. We pray that you’d work powerfully to close the wrong doors too, protecting us from what we need to walk away from.

Establish the work of our hands. Bring to fulfillment all that you have given us to do in these days. We pray that you would make our way purposeful and our footsteps firm out of your goodness and love. Give us a heart of wisdom to hear your voice; please make us strong through your huge favor and grace.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Reminder for Today

A Reminder for Today

If we woke up this morning, we can be assured, God’s not finished with us yet. There is still good in store, a gift straight from His hand.

And there’s still a new season up ahead, so we never have to give up.

For He is able. He is faithful.

He is greater than anything we face in this life and much bigger than our own brokenness or weakness.

Keep moving forward in His grace and power.

God is never late. Not ever.

Until He opens the next door, keep praising and trusting Him right where you are.

May His peace and grace abound in you, more and more, as you seek to follow Him today.
