"Filled" - To supply an empty place with all it can hold.
"Oh! That thy love might overflow my heart!"
"To know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
Last week, we studied Matthew 5: 6. We looked at what it means to be blessed; to hunger and thirst; to have righteousness; and finally, how we feel when we are satisfied - filled to overflowing.
As you reflect on the things we learned, I want to share some final thoughts, written specifically on the text we studied last week. This beautiful poem and prayer was penned by Macrina Wiederkehr in her book of prayers and reflections entitled, Seasons of Your Heart.
May these words bless you as much as they did me:
