The Journey Less Traveled – Beloved Women – February 27, 2020
READ: “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: I realize that no matter what I go through in life God is always there for me and that He will never lead me astray. It is best for me to trust Him even when I don't understand, when I can't quite see or even when I don't know exactly what to do. In times where I find myself waiting on God I’m reminded not to allow my circumstances overwhelm me or frustrate me because I know God will use even this season to prepare and strengthen me.
We see this in the life of Paul. When he prayed for God to relieve him of his struggle God instead used that struggle to strengthen Paul. We can miss God’s ultimate purpose if we get distracted, and try to do life on our own.
Life requires that we trust in a God that we can't physically see, yet we know that He is there. As we trust God’s plan we allow Him to lead our lives towards His greater purposes.
PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, I just want to say thank You for my journey. Though the roads have been rough and the going has been mighty challenging You promised to never leave me nor forsake me and for that I am grateful. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
