We Can Declare – Beloved Women – August 6, 2020

READ: “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” (2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: I recently was digging deeper into the meaning of “Amen” and discovered that it is not only a declaration of affirmation, but also means “So be it” and “Truly.” What are the statements from God’s Word we can declare Amen to?

There are so many, but here are a few God has reminded me of:

I have true life because of Christ’s sacrifice.
His mercies are new every morning.
I can face what comes tomorrow because Jesus is always with me.
My joy comes from Christ.
My future is in His hands.

These truths are unshakeable and unchanging. Declare that these are true. Life is a battle, but we get to carry around the sword of the Spirit, God’s Word. Trust in His promise today and know that you are loved, you are His, and nothing will ever change that. Yes and Amen!

PRAY: Lord, You are so good. You remind us every day that we are Yours. I can say amen because of what You’ve done for me. Thank you Lord! In Jesus Christ’s Name, I Pray, Amen.
