Rejoice Always – Beloved Women – April 4, 2019

READ

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

Rejoicing always is not something that is always easy to do. In our walk with the Lord, however, rejoicing makes all the difference in how our day will unfold. Rejoicing in Him every morning gives us a spirit of worship in our heart to get us through the day. Rejoicing in the Lord reminds us of how much He loves us and what He has done for us. It reminds us of who our Heavenly Father is and that we are standing in a place of victory because we have Him on our side. So let us rejoice in Him today because He is worthy. Let us not wake with worries, cares of the day, or a to-do list.  Instead, let’s start each day with a heart rejoicing in the fact that we are loved daughters of the King of Kings!

PRAY

Lord Jesus, help me to wake up every morning with rejoicing and praise on my lips. Help me to wake with a thankful and joyful heart. May I remember each day is a gift from You and may I chose to rejoice in it. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECT

Do you start your day with rejoicing or worries of the day?
