Lately, I have felt defeated. At work, at home, and in my relationships, I feel distraught, inferior, and like a failure. No matter how hard I try, it is never good enough. Perhaps you are feeling the same way today; you relentlessly try, but it is never enough.
Bring these feelings to the Lord and rest in His embrace. Take a few moments to take deep breaths, talk with the Lord, and study the Bible. Reflect upon this passage, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Although we may feel defeated, God meets us where we are and sets our feet back on steady ground.
