This Joy Complete

If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

John 15:10-12 NIV

Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Nehemiah 8:10b NIV

Where may abundant joy be found?
In this world are strife and discord,
Yet angels sing a heavenly chord.

Love one another declares the Lord.
On His throne King Jesus is crowned,
His perfect command a lovely sound.

Through obedience peace abounds.
Truth destroys bondage like a sword.
Freedom and strength our great reward.

My eye beholds the One adored.
With joy complete on hallowed ground,
In Jesus abundant joy is found.
