Trailer for 'Truth Rising' Documentary Promises a Powerful and Eye-Opening Journey
It's been said that the only constant in life is change. While change does occur on a continual and perpetual basis, not all change is created equal. Some of those alterations will have a much greater, more significant impact than others. Change can be good, and change can also be bad, resulting in potentially damaging, devastating consequences.
"Truth Rising" examines some of the changes and directions currently being pushed by powerful entities that seek to alter and redefine foundational truths completely. In the documentary that looks at how some in society are trying to redefine bedrock concepts and ideas, Os Guinness and John Stonestreet talk to a lineup of recognizable and influential men and women to get their thoughts and perspectives on what is currently taking place in society.
But it's impossible to move forward without first examining the past. The film also explores some of the greatest, most powerful civilizations the world has ever known and examines what led to their downfall and destruction.
"All the great civilizations of the past can only be found in three places: they're in ruins, they're in museums or they're in history books," Os Guinness says in the film. "Great, though they were, they rose, and they declined, and they fell."
The film also offers steps and solutions that anyone can take to slow and even help reverse this growing trend of a full-blown, complete and total overhaul of things like morality, faith and identity.
"Truth Rising" is scheduled to begin streaming globally on Sept. 5. For more information on the film, and where to view it, click here.
John 16:13 "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."
