Robert Jeffress on Biblical Convictions and Disagreeing Across Political Lines

Robert Jeffress is a man on a mission, as he sits down for a late afternoon Zoom interview with Crosswalk to discuss his thoughts on public executions along with the current Senate race in Texas. At first, it may look like Jeffress is a political pundit who happens to have the ear of the President of the United States; however, Jeffress is clear that he has been called to pastor the people of First Baptist Dallas, a church that he grew up in. In a sit-down interview, Jeffress lays out his interpretation of scripture on capital punishment and his thoughts on Senate candidate James Talarico, whom Jeffress admits he disagrees with but is open to having visit his church.
