A broken relationship, the loss of someone you love, a painful disappointment, or simply carrying burdens no one else can see can leave your spirit feeling crushed. Even when you smile on the outside, your heart may be aching within.
The beautiful promise of Scripture is that God doesn't avoid brokenness.
He moves toward it.
Psalm 34:18 doesn't tell us that God is merely aware of our pain—it tells us He is close to us in it. He draws near to comfort, strengthen, and remind us that our suffering will never have the final word.
Healing is often a journey rather than a single moment. But every step of that journey is accompanied by the faithful presence of God.
If your spirit feels weary today, let this truth settle into your heart: you are not abandoned, forgotten, or alone. The God who created you is holding you even now.
