Letting God Redefine Success | Your Nightly Prayer

Success is one of those words everyone uses but few people define the same way.
For some, it means financial security.
For others, influence.
Recognition.
Achievement.
A thriving family.
A respected career.
None of those things are necessarily wrong.
But Jesus repeatedly challenged His followers to ask a deeper question:
What does greatness look like in the Kingdom of God?
The disciples wrestled with this too.
They wanted to know who would be greatest.
Who would sit closest to Jesus.
Who would hold the most honored position.
But Jesus kept redirecting them.
Again and again.
Toward service.
Toward humility.
Toward love.
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
— Matthew 20:26
