Not every wound is visible.

Some pain shows itself through tears, changed circumstances, or words spoken aloud. Other pain stays hidden.

It may sit beneath your smile at work.

It may follow you through conversations where no one realizes how much effort it takes to seem okay.

It may surface only after the house becomes quiet and there is no longer anything to distract you.

Perhaps you have hidden your hurt because you do not want to burden anyone. Maybe you are afraid others will misunderstand, judge, or minimize what happened. You may not even have the words to explain why your heart feels so heavy.

But God does not need a perfect explanation.

He sees the memory that still stings. He knows the disappointment you have tried to dismiss. He understands the loneliness, betrayal, grief, rejection, or fear you have carried quietly.

Your pain may be hidden from other people, but it has never been hidden from Him.

Tonight, God is not asking you to pretend you are stronger than you feel. He is inviting you to rest in the care of the One who comes close to broken hearts.
