A Prayer When God's Timing Doesn't Make Sense | Your Daily Prayer

AuthorWaiting has a way of revealing what's happening inside our hearts.
It's easy to trust God when prayers are answered quickly. It's much harder when days become months, months become years, and we're still asking the same questions.
Why hasn't the door opened?
Why hasn't the healing come?
Why does it seem like everyone else is moving forward while I'm still waiting?
The beautiful truth is that God's delays are not God's denials.
Throughout Scripture, we see God working through seasons of waiting. Abraham waited for God's promise. Joseph waited through years of hardship. David waited before becoming king. Even Jesus waited for the appointed time to begin His ministry.
Waiting is often where God prepares us for what He's preparing for us.
While we may not understand His timing, we can trust His character. The same God who has been faithful in the past is faithfully working in your present—even when you can't yet see the outcome.
Today, choose to place your timeline into His capable hands. His plans are always worth the wait.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
— Ecclesiastes 3:11
