A Prayer to Reclaim Rest | Your Daily Prayer

There is a kind of exhaustion that sleep alone cannot fix.

It's the weariness that settles into our hearts after carrying too many responsibilities, worrying about too many unknowns, or trying to hold everything together for too long.

Our culture often celebrates busyness, but Jesus never did.

Instead, He extended one of the most compassionate invitations in all of Scripture: "Come to Me."

Notice He didn't say, "Come when you've finished everything."

He didn't say, "Come when you've figured it all out."

He simply said, "Come."

God never intended for us to live with constantly anxious hearts or exhausted souls. His desire is that we would find renewal in His presence, trusting Him with the burdens we've been trying to carry alone.

Today, allow yourself to pause. Breathe deeply. Lay your worries before the Lord and receive the rest He freely offers.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

— Matthew 11:28
