Shame has a way of convincing us that our past defines us. It whispers that we’ve gone too far or that God could never fully forgive us. But the gospel tells a different story.

Jesus willingly carried our sin to the cross so that we could experience forgiveness, restoration, and freedom. Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ. When we confess our sins, God doesn’t push us away—He welcomes us with grace and calls us into a restored relationship with Him.

Today’s prayer invites you to lay down guilt, embrace repentance, and walk confidently in the freedom Christ has already secured for you.
