14-year-old Rhys McPhillips certainly makes an impression while performing with a popular street performer and YouTube personality, Allie Sherlock. The two can create a magical show together.

Rhys is a singer and guitarist who performs in Dublin, Ireland. In this performance, he is on vocals while Allie sings and plays the guitar. Many on the street watch in wonder at their collaboration.

It is hard to believe Rhys is just 14 years old. He has an amazing voice and has a big career ahead of him. He knows how to sing and make music that others can enjoy.

‘Johnny B. Goode’ is a song by Chuck Berry that was released in 1958. It is quite popular and a staple of rock music.

The song begins with,

“Deep down in Louisiana close to New Orleans

Way back up in the woods among the evergreens

There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood

Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode”

It is the story of a semi-literate “country boy” who plays a guitar and is somewhat autobiographical in nature. The song is well-known for many generations, whether they grew up listening to it or first heard it in a popular movie such as Back to the Future.

The song is upbeat and catchy, and the lyrics are easy to remember, which is another reason the song is so popular. Rhys and Allie perform this classic song for those on the streets of Dublin and the world through the YouTube video.

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” - Romans 15:13
