In Due Season - Beloved Women - November 20, 2018

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

It is so easy to give up, shift gears and try something new. Living in a right now culture tempts us to be impatient and give up on things that we were once passionate about. That’s the easy route.

One of the hardest things to do is to keep pressing on when there is no evidence that what you are believing for will ever come to pass. If you are believing for a new business or a promotion and you’re doing everything right, it is hard to wait patiently for your turn when others around you are getting the very thing that you prayed for. Galatians 6: 9 tells us that in due season when God sees fit and knows that we are ready, we will reap a harvest. All He asks is that we not grow weary of doing good. As we persevere in difficult circumstances we can know God will reward us for our diligence and our faith.

PRAY

Father, I thank you that you know what we need and when we need it. I thank you that you have already planned what’s ahead for us and I pray that you give my sisters the energy to keep moving forward regardless of what it looks like. Give her the strength and the faith to move forward anyway. Keep her eyes on the harvest that is ahead. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
