Trusting God to Supply All Your Needs – Beloved Women – September 2, 2022
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 ESV)
God will supply all of your needs. Philippians 4:19 doesn’t say that God will supply all of your wants. There is a difference. Many times, I have spent so much time focusing on what I perceive that I don’t have, instead of celebrating all the needs that God continues to meet. Today, I invite you to pause, write down, and give thanks to God for every need that He is meeting in your life. Revisit and add to the list daily as an act of worship and gratitude. In doing so, you will be reminded that God’s word is true and God will continue to supply. The good news about God’s supply is that it will never become empty or obsolete.
In times of restlessness, be filled up with God’s presence in prayer, reading scripture, worship, and being connected with a community of believers. God will provide your tangible needs, but your spiritual needs and fruits of the spirit of love, joy, peace, and patience are what will last.
Dear God, thank You for continuing to meet and supply all my needs. At times when I begin to focus on what I perceive I am lacking, I ask for Your forgiveness. By Your Holy Spirit, renew in me a heart of gratitude for the abundant blessings that You continue to provide. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Write a gratitude list today of at least 5 needs that God continues to meet for you. Give God praise!
