Hidden in Christ – Beloved Women – March 18, 2019

READ

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God - Colossians 3:2-3 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

When we became believers, we died to our old way of living and entered into a covenant to die to our flesh and live for Jesus. The verse above makes me think of Jesus covering us with a veil to show purity and security in Him. It is a sweet reminder that He is with us and how we can trust Him for guidance in this new way of life.

Now, we have a higher way of thinking and living that is not boastful and doesn’t make us superior but it is found in surrendering our lives to someone bigger than ourselves.

The process of becoming this new creation is tough because it stretches your way of thinking but there is so much beauty that comes out of the process.

PRAY

Father, I thank You that You have created us new in You. Thank You that You cover us with so many blessings and give us a greater purpose to live. Help us to see the beauty in being stretched and loved by You. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECT

Are you living a life confidently knowing the security you have in your Father?
