Worship in Spirit and in Truth – Beloved Women - January 2, 2019

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24 ESV
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
Worship is a sacred time to reverence God for who He is. I love worshipping Him in church, in the car, and sometimes while lying in bed. I believe worship can be anywhere as it is not confined to one area.
I appreciate worship songs that are simple and easy to learn. Yet, within those simple words hold power because they are describing the One who is almighty and powerful; the One who is love. Worship brings a sense of peace and awe beyond my understanding.
Today’s verse reminds me that worship has to be authentic, personal, and reflective. Worship is a sweet moment to fully give my all to the One who knows me best.
PRAY
Father, please help me to worship better. I ask for focus to not be too distracted to worship You with all that I am and be committed to reverencing You for all that You are. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
REFLECT
Spend some time this week truly worshipping God. Not just at church but in personal time of worship giving your all to Him who has given so much to you.
