Bullock - only if it were a comedy.

Who are the others?

what about alana de la garza?

the best bet might simply be to cast an unknown actor, and have linda do a cameo as ww's mommy...

How old is Wonder Woman? Candace Cameron is in her mid 30's I believe. I don't know who Kimberly Brown is. *shrug*

She would work...depending on how old WW is supposed to be. I would looove to see Linda do a cameo.

Candace Cameron was DJ in Full House. She's Kirk's sister and has almost as much talent.

The other is a soap opera "star" from a decade or two ago.

Well, her age depends on which storyline you're following. Over 2,000 years old, and an immortal - though she gave that up when she left the Amazons. Generally, mid-late 20s has been the standard. Could also depend on which WW you're talking about. For the nevergonnahappen Whedon project, or another project (like The Justice League, which last I heard had been cast).

How about Amy Jo Johnson? or Victoria Pratt?

Or my REAL choice: Lexa Doig. You want action? Just watch any episode (after the first 4) of Andromeda and you will see her in some serious action.

I think saying someone is too old for Wonder woman is silly since Wonder woman is pretty old herself. It's not like she has that soft 20-year old face or demeanor.

I honestly haven't seen very many Amazons on television...at least since Zena, Warrior Princess went off the air. I think the best thing they can do is go for an unknown.

but is she amazonian enough?

i think ww should be beautiful as well as physically imposing (read: tall), strong yet still attractive...interestingly, in many future oriented comics, ww becomes more of "the warrior" and it seems superman is the only being "man enough" for her. i guess that's the vibe i have about her.

Clearly you have not watched much of the Andromeda series.

Her character Rommie was pretty scarey once you saw her in action.

Rommie: I am a warship!

Rommie: I just want a day where I can build missiles and tweak fire control in peace.
Beka: We need to find you a hobby.
Rommie: That IS my hobby.

How about none of the above? Sandra Bullock is a great actress, she is one of my favorites in fact but I just cannot see her as wonderwoman.
I did not know Candace and Kirk were related. Wow I learned something new today. I do not think she would make a good superhero either.
I do not even know who that other person is.

yes, but she's tiny (gorgeous, but tiny) -- and she's playing wonder woman, an amazon, not the personification/ avatar/ projection/ whatever of a warship (and i have watched andromenda on occasion).

D'oh, I meant to check in my history of WW this weekend for info on the age, and forgot! It's still a uh, pretty informative book.

Someone with Lucy Lawless' stature would be perfect. We're talking amazons and goddesses, people, not underfed, size 2 Hollywood women.

We could always get Dennis Rodman back in a dress.

Pauley Perrette is an excellent choice. Right age, right height, right attitude...perfect.

Lexa Doig would be perfect if she was about a foot taller or they got actors that were all much shorter than her. Of course, then we'd have a whoel different kind of movie.

I loved Andromeda and mourned its' loss.

So in short, if you want the show to bomb, cast her?

I couldn't stand Full House. I was amazed that Bob Sagat of all people, though, created that show.
