People are sinners. God said we are so bad that He had to become a man, come to earth, and DIE to pay our debt to sin. That's how bad we are. Some things don't change; every generation has to come to God to get a heart transplant.

If we only look at each other, it could drive us to despair.

God says to look at Him. He sent you a love letter, the Bible. Read it every day. Talk to Him (prayer) and tell Him what a mess people are. He'll agree. He will tell you in His Word what He wants you to be (His) and what He wants you to do (trust Him. The middle part may be a mess but He has promised to make the ending great. Pull the handful of pebbles out of your pocket - He has turned them to diamonds. Or is going to. Rom. 8:28,29).

He promises to make your bad things turn out good. He promises you will go to heaven and live with Him forever with no more sin. The Kingdom of God is characterized by joy ("Enter in to the joy of My kingdom"). He promises to withhold no good thing if you are walking uprightly (Ps. 84:11) right now. He promises to wipe the tears from your eyes personally (look it up on www.biblegateway.com).

Faith means we read these things (don't take my word for it; look them up in your Bible. I could be on drugs. I'm not, but you don't know that) and we could them as being true even if we don't see them. (Heb. 11:1) We can rejoice and jump up and down because of what God says He is doing and will do. You don't have to fake it because God doesn't lie.

God bless you, dear one. Go get a good meal, make sure you are getting enough sleep, go exercise (it will make you feel better for hours), start taking steps to deal with the difficult things in your life, confess any sin you can see and turn away from it, and most importantly, start reading your Bible every day and see what God is telling YOU. See what He did for other people, and why. Then rejoice at what you find, and tell Him "thank You." Rise and find victory! I am praying for you today.

Then don't deal with it. Give all your struggles to to G-d let HIM deal. You can't change others you can only change yourself.
