Not really sure if this is the right place for this post. I would like prayer for my situation but also some advice.

I have a hard time voicing prayer requests to people in person. Face-to-face. I've been brought up to not burden others with your own concerns, but now I'm bearing them all alone. I have a hard time telling even my closest of friends. I'm going to Binle study on Wed night. please pray that I can share my concerns with the group.

Blessed Lord God,

Please show your favor towards ladybulvr. Give her a spirit of courage and confidence so that she might be willing to share her concerns with this group. Allow her to be welcomed by those around her in this group, and feel comfortable in baring to them that which is troubling her. Let these people give her emotional and spiritual support for whatever need she has, and let them all be drawn in closer to you for doing this. Lord, also help ladybuglvr with her situation, and give her the strength to endure whatever this is, and lend her a hand in overcoming it.

Lord, nobody is perfect in this world. Least of all me. For this reason, you sent down your Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross so that all of us who are willing to come before you might find mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life. With this in mind, I pray this for ladybuglvr in the name of our Lord, Master, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

This is the perfect place for you to practice doing that, ladybuglvr.

But I would offer that you need to make sure that you are with a group that you actually trust before really letting loose in public like that. Is there not an individual that you can develop a trusted relationship with where the two of you can pray for each other in private?

Start small, and look for opportunities as God brings them and opens your heart to be trusting of the people you are with.

Lord Jesus we thank you for the tender spirit you have given ladybuglvr, and we praise you for you are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. We ask Lord Jesus that you bring to our sister-in-Christ people who she can trust that are willing to stand with her in prayer, and support her in her time of trial. We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus name ... amen.

Yes, I do trust this group. I've been a part of it for over a year and know one of the members for six years. Everytime we get together I get butterflies in my stomach when the leader asks how we can pray for each other. Everytime I want to say something, but don't. and everytime. I get mad at myself for not saying anything. I feel this anxiety may be causing the headaches I mentioned in an earlier post. (my headaches have gotten much better since seeing the chiropractor! thanks for you prayers concerning that issue) Anyway, I could list many prayer requests on this site - that's easy. I need help telling others. And actually telling just one person is much more frightening than telling a group because then I have to look directly into their eyes. Please continue to pray.

Father, give ladybuglvr the courage to share her needs. We need to know when each other is hurting so we can lift each other up to You. So we can give them a hug, or a smile. Thank You for loving us so. Help us to love one another more. Help ladybuglvr to feel save and calm as she shares. Meet her needs and bless her dear Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

I was able to share with the group. Not everything but something. I feel so much better! This is something I've always struggled with. I feel comfortable telling complete strangers my story but not anyone I'm close to.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I've been filled with deep anxiety for some time now. I worry alot about things that I have no reason to worry about. Yesterday my sister said "you haven't smiled in such a long time" That really hurt me and caused more anxiety. She's right though. I used to smile all the time. I'm not sure what happened to make me feel this way. Please continue to pray. By opening up to my friends and Bible Study group I hope to erase these feelings.

Ladybuglvr, I am so glad you were able to share your prayer request with your group at
church. That is great, know this, that is never ever a burden, that is what we as christians
are suppose to do is be there for those in need and pray for them. Now that you have opened
up it should get easier for you..Did something happen recently over the months that made
things change for you?
Sounds like the enemy is on attack with you..Keep doing what you are doing, going to bible study and share your prayer requests with your group, seems like he does not want you sharing
your prayer needs with others. Do not let him win, you have already broken through now with
your group and that is God working in this situation..Continue to just pray and praise God through the good and the bad and he will answer your prayers...

I will pray for you my friend!!

Lord, I lift up ladybug to you today, please Lord, I ask for a hedge of protection over her
right now, the enemy does not want her praying and involving other christians in her life
and she needs them Lord. Please Lord, the enemy needs to leave ladybug alone and in the
name of Jesus, he does not have permission to be here. Lord, please give her peace, give her
a calmness that she has never felt before and to be able to lean on those around her in her
church group, bring her smile and her joy back to her that she deserves Lord...

amen

As far as anything new in my life...I switched jobs two years ago. I left a very Christian environment for a very unChristian environment. I've been labelled the "good girl" by several of the people. These same people are old enough to be my parents. On many occasions they have said they wish their children would have turned out like me. They want to know how I resist temptations. I have tried to explain how my faith helps me do this but they blow it off saying ...I could never get my child to set foot in a church, I don't believe in God because, or some other remark. Anyway all that to say their children are all married with children or are in a seriou relationship and I am very jealous of that. I expected to be married and have at least one child by this point in my life. I used to be at peace with this until I turned 30.

But I'm not sure this is what has given me such anxiety over the past year. I think it is the above in combination with unresolved issues from my childhood. And as I've said I've never been one to share important information. I've always been the one others come to to get a listening ear. I think that is more the issue. Now I need the listening ear and I can't make myself do it.

I'm feeling slightly better just by posting the above. Thanks!

Wow, girl...I am sorry to hear this..But you know what, don't worry about what others
say, honestly they must be jealous because you are living the life that the Lord wants
you to live...
Trust me, I felt the same way, I turned 35 this year and I am not married and no kids
either. I know that if this is what God wants for me then I will just be single..Have you
ever talked with a therapist, to just be able to vent and talk to someone really does help.
I did it for awhile and I really felt so much better..Let others be there for you, that is what
they are there for, it's not good to just hold stuff inside.

Know that I pray for you and if you ever want to PM me, we can always talk, I would love
to be a listening ear for you!! You can always vent and I will listen...

amen

Praise God for Christian Doctors!!!!! I just got back from my visit with the chiropractor for my headaches. I love to listen to him pray over me as his hands adjust my neck. I love listening to the Christian music they play in the waiting room. He is truly doing the Lord's work. I feel so much lighter when I come out of his office.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers.

Ladybuglvr,

Thanks for being willing to open up to everyone here and for letting us pray for you. I sort of know what you are going through. I'm new here and I was extremely nervous and anxious about coming here, but since joining and being a part, I now feel loved and welcomed. One good thing about internet forums is that we can all be somewhat anonymous to each other, yet still love and support each other. There is no bias here based on looks, age, money or gender. We all have struggles and we can all support and love each other. Like someone here(can't remember who) told me today, someday we will all meet together in heaven and we'll all be perfect! I can't wait!

Please know that I'm praying for you. God loves you so much and so do we!
