Don't you people have a Home button on your keyboards?

Don't know about anybody else, but I really didn't need the attitude today.

My most humble apologies, I didn't mean to come across as condescending. I should have put a smiley on my post, at the very least, or just posted a suggestion directly.

Thank you.

Thanks for telling us about the home key. It does make things easier.

I'd like the lil smileys box that pops up to display bigger smilies. Some of them seem so small...

And yes, I am short-sighted!

On the subscriptions page there is a check all button, but it would be nice to have an uncheck all button. That would help a lot with cleaning out old subscriptions!

I wish there was a pop-up that would remind me to pray before I post.

Then I wouldn't have to hit the edit key so often.

Seriously, I do wish that we could just stay logged in for more than a day. There are times where I can't get on the computer for a week or more and then I have to go searching for my password.
Last time I couldn't find my password and had to get a new one. Luckily this one is easy for me to remember, so I shouldn't have that problem in the future.

This is about the message that comes up if you post too quickly after the last time you posted: "You can't post two consecutive messages within such a short amount of time: go back? : : close window?"

I understand the reason for it, to discourage spamming. But could it somehow be discontinued after the member has, say 1000 posts? You'd know by then the person was legitimate, and not spamming.

Getting this message is extremely frustrating. For instance, I just happen to be a pretty fast typist, so I have a post typed, just a line or two, and want to post it, but not enough time has elapsed yet. So I get that message. And the other problem is that now what I've typed is gone, as well. That also is frustrating.

Thanks for your attention.

I'd like to see some 'one stop threads' created in the Womens, Mens and Health folders on Losing Weight and Exercise ~ a thread for each in each of the folders. Can't say I've been to the Mens folder but I've seen in the others lots of threads on these topics.

I can understand why people would want only other men or women responding which is why I think that they should each have a folder. I can also understand some not worrying too much or at a point where they feel they can encorage and give useful info to others, so one in the Health.

Maybe it's just because we're in New Year mode still and everyone has set resolutions to lose weight and exercise more ~ but it is difficult sometimes to open a folder and have it full of new threads on the same topic.

Not that I'm ranting or anything!

I wish I may, I wish I might..........

AUTOMATIC HOT LINKS for all scripture! A pastor, member here, has a small board and every quoted scripture that includes book and verse is a hot link to the scripture. When you click on that, you can read in context, change versions, etc. With Crosswalk being THE best of the best, seems like a no brainer.

PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE???

It's free, though you may have to pay for certain versions. Though, anyone else would have to charge as well due to licensing, but I use this to get the jist of it though and I've never paid anything for it. I love it, just for the reasons you state ;)

That's neat!

I really think, when someone posts the words John 3:16, the verse should actually be a hot link so someone can click on it and read the whole chapter, etc. www.Pastorssource.org has that installed and it's really neat. Maybe TPTB here will consider it! Context is sooooooo important.

I wish that when we got a new PM we didn't have to go into our inbox and then into the msg. It would be so much faster if we could go straight to the msg from 'My Forums'.

And I wish that when we were going through msgs we could have a 'next' button so we could go to the next msg instead of back to the inbox and then to the next msg.

Yeah, lazy I know, blame the meds

Home and Garden needs a one-stop thread for requesting recipies! I don't understand why everyone keeps posting threads asking for recipies when they can use Google or the plethora of other recipie sites anyway.

I agree that a one-stop would be good for recipes ~ but sometimes people are looking for tried and tested recipes.

I think it would be better for the participants in the folder to create an non-official one stop and when someone creates a new thread the participants can point them to the existing one complete with link.

Then when a Mod or I sweep by we can just close the new thread.

Nice idea! Can we ask the mods to do that for the copious amounts of threads (in one folder) that crop up about dieting too please?

Sure, the mod in that folder is Pumpkin.

Just PM her and ask for her assistance.

All you are asking is for the facilitation of communication.

That's one of the jobs of being a Mod.

Just bear in mind that sometimes the Mod may not be able to do it as quickly as one may like.

Only time I get upset about a Mod not being able to do something as quickly as I'd like is when some bozo is posting things I really don't want to read and all the hosties are in la-la land!

I saw this on another forum, perhaps this would be something for the future. I would like a feature that allows you to copy and paste to a clip board multiple posts from a thread.

I use notepad for copying/pasting multiple posts. It's another programme to open, but it's not difficult to do.

But you have to copy and paste it into the program, then paste it again back in cw. This other site allows you to copy and paste multiple quotes without having to do that at all.
