uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (12/18/2007 4:03:11 PM)

The banner ads on the side are showing up really wide, scrunching the posts into a column about 6" wide. It's not happening on every page, and when it does happen, the ad space is blank.

Using the CCM portal, Firefox 2.0.0.11 with Adblock enabled, T1 line, Windows 200 Professional.

uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 10:07:38 AM)

Still doing it this morning. Hello? Anybody?

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 1:34:56 PM)

Nothing on my end.

Try using one of the other portals.

uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 2:19:30 PM)

I use this portal because it's the only one that doesn't give me a headache from the color scheme or format or both. Thanks anyway, guess I'll just have to deal.

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 3:06:04 PM)

Sometimes that happens to me, and there's text in where the image should be (although I use Adblock). It hasn't happened since I installed NoScript, but I don't know if that is really affecting it or not.

uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 3:19:09 PM)

I turned off Adblock and it hasn't happened since. It looks like the culprit is the ad for Plumb's new cd. Another reason not to like her. [;)]

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (12/19/2007 3:19:37 PM)

YOu should send that discovery to support@salemwebnetwork.com

uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (12/20/2007 9:54:50 AM)

Done.

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (12/21/2007 3:01:44 PM)

Is it just me, or...

When using the address book for a PM, the column of handles is wider than it used to be. This makes the scroll bar unusable (not seen) until you widen the window. Could either the pop-up window be widened or the address book table column be narrowed?

never_forget_911 -> RE: Bug Report (12/23/2007 4:05:19 AM)

I find the new flash chat very slow with a big lag time with typing. Those emot-animation are so goofy and look like they belong in kindergarten. All the different typefaces are very distracting...and I don't like the fact that you can't see who's in other rooms. It would be nice to be able to create your own room too. Not enough identity icons to choose from. Those backgrounds cover up the text. who needs all these bells and whistles when you're just trying to have a conversation? Clean and simple is the best. Avatar is disfunctional. A bunch of clones with messages walking over each other. Impossible to follow

MyCatSmokey2006 -> RE: Bug Report (1/6/2008 9:51:21 PM)

I just tried to post in the Good News, Bad News and Worse News Thread and the box popped up with something like, "You cannot reply because either you don't have sufficient permission or you may need to login first." I've posted in that thread before without any problems. Why would it post a message like that when I'm already logged in?

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (1/6/2008 11:15:11 PM)

Did you try it again? I've noticed that sometimes the system gets a bit of a nosebleed.

rayofson -> RE: Bug Report (1/7/2008 11:22:28 AM)

That's an interesting way to put it. [8D]

MyCatSmokey2006 -> RE: Bug Report (1/7/2008 9:57:54 PM)

I was able to post in it a few minutes later, so it's no problem now. (knocks on wood) [:)]

scoobie -> RE: Bug Report (1/21/2008 8:52:20 AM)

Hell, new here and just received a message in my private inbox from a lady who's husband died and left her a large sum of money in a bank in Abjabawan or something like that [:D] she would like me to inherit it and use it for orphanages and such. She seems like an awfully nice lady.......but uuuummmmmm.........

MyCatSmokey2006 -> RE: Bug Report (1/21/2008 9:46:28 AM)

scoobie, you might want to forward that to one of the administrators, either Fritzpw_Admin or Kath, because that type of advertising is against one of the Terms of Service (TOS). Just put their handle in the "To" space and they'll take care of it for you.

Mods, am I giving the right advice here?

Scoobie - welcome to the forums! I'm sorry you got one of those scams. We cannot know who is a scammer until it's reported... and they tend to go after the new folks. [:@]

That would work too Melissa :) They would have to hit quote so we could see the PM and make sure they copy the offender's handle.

it would be best to send it to a mod or me instead of Fritz.

We also need the link from the PM, that would be the http stuff. copy and paste it to the PM you send us.

Darcyjo -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 9:10:58 PM)

Hi, folks!

Is there something wrong with the CCM portal? For the last two days (since yesterday afternoon) I haven't been able to access the forums from there. I got a consistent "runtime error" page each time I attempted to come on. I finally tried Crosswalk (from another computer) tonight, and had no problem getting on.

My normal computer is a Mac Mini, running OS 10.4, Safari as the browser.

Oh, and I know I'm not the only one.........

denbert -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 9:16:26 PM)

You're right Darcy. I haven't been able to get in using the CCM portal for two days eiither. Runtime error.

.Pammy -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 9:22:19 PM)

Check this out. I think it may explain your problem. I'm still getting them from time to time also.

Darcyjo -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 9:26:21 PM)

Well, I won't know if it all worked out till I go home tomorrow to check my mail, then I'll try coming back here through CCM. Denny, didn't you still have problems there tonight? [8|]

uncabeeil -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 11:01:47 PM)

I'm getting the same error for 2 days now. From 2 different computers. No problems through Christianity.com or one of the new radio station links Fritz posted in the Updates folder. One computer runs Windows 2000 Professional, the other Windows XP.

Kath -> RE: Bug Report (1/25/2008 11:18:19 PM)

I just tried ccm portal and I can't get in either.
