That happened several times to me last night. I was wrong when I said refresh. I clicked My Forums to make it go back to normal. Hope that helps.

PamelaSue, several of us are having the same problem that you are. I don't get the message that I have not subscribed, but I end up with nothing listed on My Forums page. *sigh*. When I restart it will be there usually but even that didn't work tonight. I went from Netscape where I could not get the list AT ALL, to IE and got the list when I first came in on it, but then the list of subs was gone after the that.

Praying it can get figured out. I have been going to threads tonight now by going to a forum, like Personally For You, and accessing stuff that way.

Fritz, can you help???

It's been worse for me tonight too. I couldn't get anything to come up till I logged out and back in again.

Thanks, everybody. It's really nice to know I'm not the only one this is happening to. I'm also accessing threads by going into the categories and finding the threads that (I think) I remember I'm active in. But boy, that's really the hard way (and very slow), isn't it? I suppose this will get ironed out. Right now, though, I'm okay.

I'm having this same problem again this morning (with the My Forums page saying I haven't subscribed to anything). I don't want Fritz or anybody to think this problem has gone away.

Is someone working on this? Should I keep posting in here whenever this happens? What should I do?

Hi Pamela.

You could email Fritz I think or see if there is another thread about this subject. BUT, Leah and I were going back and forth the other night about this problem and she said that Fritz suggested that her subcription list was getting too long and that she should unsub from some of them.

She did do that (unsub from about 40 threads) and I also did that and things have been MUCH better again. I have only had a blank page once since I did the purging.

I hope that helps you. ((((Pamela))))

That's what I suggested too, but I got down to under 40 threads subscribed and was still having problems.

Hmmmm, I wonder if Leah is having problems again too. So far, I have just had the one blank page and that was today. It has been fine other than that.

2jsmom, have you restarted your computer since your purge?

I agree though there really seems to be "something" going on.

No, but it's working fine right now. I'll try that if it acts up again. It just isn't following the usual pattern since it continued after I cleared out subscriptions. I had never had more than 60 subscribed threads. I thought we were supposed to be good up to 100.

I didn't really know how many we could have but I know I probably had at least 100.

I need to go "cleaning" more often. Like all the one time post stuff, birthday threads and the like. Those really can add up.

Here is a thread about the issue, not many solutions, but maybe something will turn up...

The "bug" that I have noticed lately in my posts is that the number of posts is being systematically reduced every day. I had over 3,000 posts about two weeks ago, and now I am showing less then 1,900. Some "grinch" seems to be stealing the stats.

Thats because of the forums purge that has been transpiring.

I was going to ask the same question! I could have sworn I had over 1000 posts, now it shows I have 600.

They have a whole thread about this now, so I guess they're working on it, thank goodness. Seems everyone has the problem. Good to know we're not alone in our misery, huh?

Does anyone know why my home page all of a sudden has now switched to beta.crosswalk.com?

I just posted my first reply with the new format, and when I am typing my reply in the window, the words go off into the blue space to the right, and I can't see them. If I click on "Preview" I can see where the mistakes are, but when I go back to the post I can't see the words to the right to correct them.

I scrolled up the page to see if this was a bug with the new system, but didn't see anything posted yet.

On this particular post, in the first paragraph, from the end of the word "into" to "Preview" is all unseeable.

I just discovered that after making that post. I had seen that thread title and just thought it was a "rant" thread -- and you usually tell people to take "bug" problems here.

I'll go over there and catch up.
