For the moment they seem to be under control. I haven't seen a live one since we treated the cats and the carpet. Any suggestions for lunch? I'm thinking the leftover Indian in the fridge is looking might good, especially if I add a tossed salad. We're out of bread and our pastor's wife has insisted we come over and pick up bread from the church freezer as they have way too much and a weekly delivery of free bread from a local bakery, but dh won't be able to get over there until this afternoon. Darcy, there is a young Australian girl, Schappelle Corby, who has been arrested in Bali with smuggling drugs into Bali from Australia [as if anyone would - like taking coals to Newcastle!!]. When she entered Bali in October last year they found 4.1 kg's of marijuana in her body board bag. It appears it may have been planted in her luggage here in Sydney, by baggage handlers, who thought it [the body board] was being offloaded in Brisbane [or vice versa - maybe Brisbane to Sydney?]. Anyway it is a huge mixup, and the Indonesians don't have a lot of evidence but they are making a case against her and it is possible she will be given a life sentence or even death by firing squad, if the court finds her guilty. She really needs a lot of prayer at the moment. There is also another case where 9 young people were found with drugs strapped to their body as they left Bali for Australia. They too are being held and will probably face the full brunt of Indonesia'a severe drug penalties. It seems these young people were somehow forced into running the drugs and there is a big police investigation happening here in Australia to find the 'leader'. It has highlighted the severity of the Indonesian system in dealing with drugs. Both cases are very tragic for lots of reasons. I just pray that truth and justice will win.

The whole Bali thing is rather sad. The treatment that the Australians are receiving, (or in this case, not receiving), is appalling. I don't know how people can allow others to go through that kind of behaviour.

It was a very interesting movie. I remember you saying something about it. What I don't understand is why they were moving the girls in the first place?

Ohhhhhhh, my dear Lord......to be SHOT for having drugs in your stuff? It's a good thing that isn't policy elsewhere......there'd be a whole lot of dead people around here, that's for sure. Will pray for the girl, and that justice will REALLY be done. Whoever may have planted the stuff in her gear should own up to it......HE'S probably not in Bali, and I doubt that he'd be extradited there. How could you LIVE with knowing that something you did got someone EXECUTED?

Congrats to X for winning a ribbon. Good job! I hope you and J are feeling much better. I know it's not much fun when you're sick. I hope you can both take it easy and get well really quickly.
