Last night I watched 'Last Dance' with Sharon Stone and Rob Morrow. What a sad story!

It certainly makes you think more deeply about what those kids over in Bali and Chapelle Corby must be going through. And their families! What a way to learn the truth of the saying - There's no such thing as a free lunch!

When she entered Bali in October last year they found 4.1 kg's of marijuana in her body board bag. It appears it may have been planted in her luggage here in Sydney, by baggage handlers, who thought it [the body board] was being offloaded in Brisbane [or vice versa - maybe Brisbane to Sydney?]. Anyway it is a huge mixup, and the Indonesians don't have a lot of evidence but they are making a case against her and it is possible she will be given a life sentence or even death by firing squad, if the court finds her guilty. She really needs a lot of prayer at the moment.

There is also another case where 9 young people were found with drugs strapped to their body as they left Bali for Australia. They too are being held and will probably face the full brunt of Indonesia'a severe drug penalties. It seems these young people were somehow forced into running the drugs and there is a big police investigation happening here in Australia to find the 'leader'.

It has highlighted the severity of the Indonesian system in dealing with drugs. Both cases are very tragic for lots of reasons. I just pray that truth and justice will win.

I'm not sure of exact ages of the whole nine, but from what I've seen on the news they appear to mostly be young adults, some not even twenty yet.

I've got the worst headcold today and I kept J home from school because he's so sick. For the first time in I can't remember how long I had J sleep in our room last night so I could monitor him. He had a shocking cough and just wasn't breathing as freely as I thought he should have been.

Dh slept in the loungeroom so he could get some rest but said that even down the other end of the house J was coughing that hard that he (dh) had trouble sleeping. And then X, all excited to find Daddy in the loungeroom, woke him at 6am when she got up.

It was a bit of a shame for J having to stay home today as it was the school sports carnival.

X came home with a second place ribbon and apparently her team came first in one ballgame, third in another and second (I think ) in the relay.

To take a term from that era which says everything about the attitudes of the time - they were trying to 'breed the black out of them'.
