Lord....i pray for all my CW friends...old and new. thank You for letting them share their concerns, fears, and praises here with us! what a priviledge it is to share in their joy...and to be counted on and trusted as a friend in their time of need.
You know everyone's concerns...and You know what is actually best for them. wrap Your arms around them, Lord. shield them. protect them. give them wisdom and guidance. bring exactly what they need into their lives today...this week...whenever the right time is. and help them to trust You and to be paient for Your answers. we know, Lord, that You only have the best for us in mind. we know that You want to bless us and want us to be happy.
and we know that we were made to praise You...in good times and in bad. so let us praise You today, Lord. let our hearts soar with the knowledge and assurance of Your love and power! thank You for being our God. we trust You and we want to do Your will in our lives. may You be glorified in all of these situations, Lord. all these things we pray...in Jesus' name....amen.

I got a call from a place where I sent off some resumes. They have their own onsite temp service too, which may be the best way for me to get my foot in the door there. I've got an appt tomorrow so they can "process me" (background check and such) - not sure if it will also include an interview. I hope so. This is the place where my friend works. Oh, and I have 2 more tests to take, both of which I needed to take there since it's based on speed. (10-key and alphanumeric. I'm using a laptop and it doesn't have a number pad. Wish it did!)
I haven't heard anything from my dd yet.

Hey peeps,
I feel like I ask for this a lot but... I need big time prayer w/ an on going situation. I won't go into details, but I'm so tired out by this.. I feel like I can't keep doing it, kwim? And I need so much wisdom -- the kind that only comes from the Lord.... The Lord's hugs & warm comfort would be good right now too...

Praying Susan, for the job situation. Please let us know how it went and how further we can lift you in prayer.
Praying for you also, tlims. I know it can get wearisome at times when we feel like we're fighting the same battle forever. I pray God will give you the strength you need. And I do pray you would feel the warm comfort of His loving arms around you.

Praying Kuku.
I would like to ask you pray for one of my co-workers. He was blowing up a tire on one of the big dollies at work and the metal tire rim broke and caught him in the hand. It gouged his hand pretty deeply. The impact was so intense it even blew out some of the bones in the hand and they're going to have to take some bone from other parts of his body to put into the hand.

I have mild carpal tunnel problems in my right wrist, and with the project I'm doing at work, it is really beginning to hurt - badly. Right now, I'm taking the heat from the laptop and letting it penetrate my hand/wrist - just to help give some relief. Please pray that I can quickly get through this project, and into a position that will give me benefits, so that I can get this looked at by my doctor. I wear a brace, and that helps, but I can't wear it 24/7.

My chiropractor recommends ice every time instead of heat. At first I thought she'd lost her mind--heat sounded so much more comfortable. But in desperation I followed her advice, and amazingly the pain began to subside.
20 minutes every hour or as often as you can manage it. Also, get one of those exersize balls...the little squeezy balls and do some of those exersizes every so often.
Won't hurt to try to switch hands either and give your dominant hand a break. I quite often do this...it's not hard with practice.
Praying for your hand...I know what that feels like.

Now for my own prayer requests...which are myriad. I'll try to keep it to just a few of the more urgent ones.
Please keep praying for the situation between The Beau and his parents...it's one of those situations where he feels like one step forward results in two steps backward. This is not going to get taken care of in the 2.5 weeks my dd has left in KY.
When dd returns, we are thinking it might be best for her to get her own apartment here...not because we don't want her back home, but because of the gas costs. However, finding a reasonably-priced apartment in a safe part of town will require divine intervention.
Please pray for God to show The Beau and dd what the next step is. We would love it if God so moved in The Beau's heart that he decided to move here...but we want what God wants.
School is about to start...not just for my kids, but for me, too. I need to pass the French CLEP exam and another test. I need to get the house and the children ready for school. I have to get ready to gear up the church choir. And I need to have some direction concerning tweaking my schedule....
Sheesh.
So many things have worked out. I am keeping my faith up by remembering all the things that have worked out in the past...He'll work them out again.

I've had a nasty migraine ALL day today! I still have it. It's abated - a bit. I'm stressing over a lot of things - and that's what triggered it - that and not taking my supplement that keeps them at bay. I have to leave my house and go to where I'm taking care of kitties for 10 days, so I need to be able to function here shortly. Would appreciate prayers that I don't get sick any more from this thing and can get to the other house safely (about 10 miles away, and it's raining), and that it stops hurting. It's been several years since I've had one this bad!

Thank you for the prayers - after SIX of my meds and three extra-strength tylenol, the migraine has finally gone away. But, it'll take my body a few days to regain its normal chemistry - I get all messed up when I get these, and today's has been one of the worst ones I've had in YEARS!

Hey y'all thanks for all the prayers! I hated to have to go to the ER, but mom made me. My blood sugar shot up close to 500, so we had to go get it taken care of. The doctors treated me there with insulin and fluid. They sent me home with some meds and strict instructions to keep an eye out on it. I should be feeling much better really soon.
