Hi Sharon.

About Brett Farve, Pam and I had an interesting discussion when he un-retired. He is from Mississippi and Pam knew his wife.

Ooooo, do tell!

I have had some interesting discussion with co-workers about his "un-retiring" too. My heart really went out to Deanna Favre when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. It was a year later that my niece Angie was diagnosed.
That's cool that Pam knew her. Has she got some inside insight to Brett's decision?

Just watched this interview on Good Morning America with Deanna Favre and it's a neat interview. I think I'm gonna buy her book because of watching it.

She and Pam were on the same softball team in college.

As far as insight, there was a lot of coverage on him in Mississippi and how he was pressured by Green Bay. She was familiar with what was happening with his extended family.

Thank you Betty. Everyone help yourself.

The playoffs are ready to start. Sit back watch the game and have some of Betty's cookies.

Cool...who are we rooting for? Since it seems that my teams of choice did not make it.

Between the White Sox and the Twins, hmmmm, it is a toss up. I think the Angels will win the American League anyway.

I will be rooting for the Cubs unless they play the Red Sox.

I had a good time. There was a mixer on Friday night and a dinner and dance on Saturday night.

I was in a class of about 780 people and about 140 attended. I have attended my 20th, 25th and 30th before. We just mixed around and talked and I danced a few dances.

Did you see Kansas pull it out of the fire?

Yes I did. I was running errands and having lunch and listening to the game on the radio. But I did see the second half on TV.

Hi Mike,

I did some work around the house Saturday, went to a party last night (I went as Col Sanders, if I get the picture I will post it as an avatar)

Today I went to a meeting.

I do work tomorrow but I have two meetings about health insurance. This will be important since I will retire in March and have to pay the full rate.

Oh my Gary, I hope it isn't too much now. Healthcare is very expensive as it is!

It may be a huge increase. Currently, my employer picks up about 95% of the cost.

Oh my Gary, you can expect it to be around $400 or more a month! I know that mine is $600 before employer contributions, etc.
