Tonight was my photo groups annual summer picnic. It was a nice pleasant evening as we watched t-storms pass by to the south and east over the KC area.
When I got home the TV is covering a gasoline storage tank fire that was caused by lightning. It has been burning for over 2 hours..

No I haven't read it, but I am familiar with the Alaskan League. They are second only to the Cape Cod League in prestige. The best players are sent to the Cape Cod League and when that fills up they are sent to the Alaskan League.
The league sends the league winner to the National Baseball Congress Tournament in Wichita every year, and the team is always one of the top seeds. Alaskan League Teams have won the NBC many times over the years.
