Hopefully it will be when I get home. I've been putting off running the wood-burner. The filter for the humidifier has been on order for a while, and is supposed to arrive today. Without the humidifier, the wood-burner dries out the house too much for the guitars.

I had to smile at the concern...for the guitars LOL! I know that feeling. After church, when we go to lunch, WHN always says it's cold so we need to hurry and get his "baby" home. He isn't talking about me

He isn't talking about me When they're worth thousands of dollars each, and will literally crack if the humidity isn't high enough, you do tend to 'baby' them. If they get too cold, or warmed up too quickly, the finish will be damaged. It's best to let it warm up slowly with the guitar in its case.

ORIGINAL: utilityfielder I have a dulcimer that I have had for 30 plus years. The glue has turned to powder. I still have it and I sometime think that I should find someone to re-glue it. Any reputable guitar shop should be able to do that.

He is sooooo careful and just babies his guitars. When I tease him that he worries more about his guitars getting hurt than me, he says I'll heal...lol.
