I reorganized my CD-player yesterday; in with the new, out with the old . . . kinda.

It holds 100 cd's - and I also updated my typed listing of what's where . . .

Instead of titles, I'll just give you categories . . . how 'bout that?

- Christian / Worship / Gospel

- Instrumental (guitars / harmonicas / flutes / American Indian flutes / pianos / violins)

- Classical (waltzes / marches / etc.)

- Country (mostly "old" country)

- Nature Sounds

- "Easy Listening"

- Miscellaneous (ranging from Neil Diamond to Kingston Trio to Peter, Paul & Mary to Lawrence Welk)

Currently I have few CDs in constant rotation:

Tom Waits - Real Gone
Pere Ubu - Modern Dance
Pixies - Wave of Mutilation
Animal Collective - Feels
The Vaselines - The Way of the Vaselines (they did the songs "Molly's Lips" and "Son Of A Gun" before Nirvana covered them)
Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel

I am in love with Antony and the Johnsons, introduced to me by Coil, which is playing right now along with Current 93.

Currently in my car: my own CD compilation extravaganza, featuring K's Choice, They Eat Their Own and Bread & Water. Everything else remains.

No kidding... this one is a three-cd set that I got for Christmas. I actually like disk 1, the rest... . Except one of them has a Switchblade Symphony song that's okay. But I have that Switchblade CD, so it doesn't matter.

(You can tell from the scars on my arms and cracks in my hips and the dents in my car and the blisters on my lips that i'm not the carefullest of girls...)

I am so in love with Amanda. Their aesthetics, words, noise...I have a link to her blog on my blog, you should read it. I would move to Boston just to stalk them and become their friend.

I have Cleopatra's tribute to Madonna, with KMFDM doing Material Girl, and a tribute to Motley Crue, which is just horrible. Really, really horrible.

I saw a CD in a store, once, that I really wanted but had no money for, and I haven't been able to find it. It was bands who hate Morrissey and the Smiths doing covers of them. In the liner notes they talked about why they hate it.

I think I'll listen to David Cross, now (comedian).
