Duuude, just give em a regular cup and a spoon. Ha!

I'm finally up. I have got many things to do today. Maybe I should lay them all out here so that I don't forget anything.

- Update my guest list
- Send e-mail updates to vendors
- Call the restaurant to see if I can come in today. If I can, go and tell them my food choices.
- Organize my pictures that I want used for the slide show
- Pack whatever clothes that can go to the new place already
- Go to the new place to drop off John's first month rent and drop off a few things.
- Workout at the gym.
- Be sure to rest a little

Before I start I need to fuel up with some breakfast. Hmm.

Working on a third task. Feel free to post though since I check back from time to time.

Everyone, I will most likely be sticking mainly here while things progress so come on by when you can to keep the island afloat.

Our first VCR was a Sanyo Betacord. It lasted for about 4 years. After that we got a VHS and later DVDs.. That is all from this end. Have a good day..

I remember seeing the beta tapes at the store. I remembered that they looked obsolete and pointless before it got started!

We got our first VCR in 1983. At that time, both VHS and BETA were available. It was looking as if VHS was going to become the standard though, so we bought a VHS VCR.

The video store at that time had both formats on the shelf. It wasn't a year or two later that BETA was no longer a contender on the market...at least in that area. I understand that its success varied by region.

You know what never really made it the US but did so in Japan? The mini disk (MD). I have one but never used it a lot. I liked it though. At the time, it was more convenient than a regular CD because of its size.

I wonder what will be next after MP3s?

Next in music....Probably an ear piece or ear phone type of thing. And in order to change songs we will have to point remotes at our heads.
