Thank you to all who kept the island alive and fresh while my internet was gone. But PTL! It's working again!

I can work on my project now too...getting some photos downloaded, fixed and sent to my Rabbi. They are the ones I took last week at our National Day of Prayer celebration.

I had a lovely evening tonight. I finally got to spend some time with a sister from church. But all I can say is that she is an answer to prayer! I've prayed that G-d bring to me a new friend...one who is married and who really loves the L-rd...someone I can confide in and seek female counsel from when it comes to marriage. It's the kind of person that gives you confirmation about things. KWIM?

I've got lots of things on my mind at this moment. You now restless you can get when that happens? lol

It is Friday. I also have a BIG project to do. But I know where I am going so I am not that restless... Plus I have a couple of finals to study for.

It is Aloha Friday. But also you are fortunate to have me remind you of certain events that occur throughout the year. Tomorrow is the Stamp Out Hunger coincides with the United States Postal Services annual postage stamp rate hike... :P

Nothin better then a little glue.[ 8D] But you don't lick stamps anymore...They are self-sticking...Envelopes however are a different story.

I do very little mailing by way of the USPS. They are not going to keep customers if they keep raising prices on an annual basis.
Here is a hypothetical cost of mailing a letter..
paper- .10
envelope .10
gas .40 (assuming you have to go to the post office)
stamp .42
total $1.02

E-mail is much cheaper (Free) than the USPS. lol...

Not unless you want to send a package. Ha.

Aloha Friday island peeps!

Stamp Out Hunger is great. This is the time now to place can goods in your mailbox for the carriers to pick up! So stuff those excess can goods in your mailbox if your area participates. I know you have too much in your pantry.

Aaand, despite not really knowing if I did or not...I DID lose some weight and the dress fits much better! Just a little more to go. I got me a fitness ball. It's the medium sized one although I think I prefer the large. But it will do for now. I'm also going to buy a few more DVDs so that I can work out at home if I can't make it to the gym.

Hmm. Turbo kickboxing anyone?

I'll pass.

I do have a favor to ask, however. You seem to know quite a bit about the Jewish traditions. I hope I'm not prying by asking this, but is this in your family or John's?

If I did offend, I apologize. But I have a very good reason for asking.

Our fish had babies. Three teeny-weeny little fish babies. I had to seperate them from the adult fish. Because apparently BIG FISH eat little fish. I don't think that the BIG FISH know that they are eating the little fish. Something floats by their mouth and they just open wide.

Ray!

One of my co-workers got angel fish and to his surprise they had TONS of babies! But he's been loving watching them cause he said he never has seen fish soooooo protective of their babies. It's been actually inspiring him cause he said that dad is such a good dad. Whenever any of the babies strays from the group, he sucks them in his mouth and brings them back! They should be called shepherd fish. Isn't that cool?

Dude, no offense at all! John and I are not Jewish. We are Gentiles that attend a Messianic congregation where there are both Jewish and Gentile believers. We learn all about our Hebrew roots, which is what Gentiles have actually been grafted into. It's nice to learn about these roots but at the same time challenging because we either have grown up with or have learned more Roman traditions in our lives. The Messianic congregation also helps Gentiles to understand how important praying and reaching out to the Jews are. After all, Christ will not come again until all of Israel says, "Baruch Haba Bashem Adonai!" (Blessed is He who comes in the name of the L-rd). If you find a Messianic congregation near you I encourage you to attend their Shabbat service, which is usually either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Hiya Mikey! would you like to do some turbo kickboxing as well?
