Do not get me started ... I actually work with people like that.

One of them will stay up all night, sitting on the couch, coddling her dog who is afraid of a little rain ... but ask her to even take her husband to the doctor for a procedure that requires he be put under? Let's just say I stayed away from my desk a good part of the day because I didn't want to get sucked into the complaints. I have no tolerance for that either.

Abiyah,

I know about those types of people, many of them went to school with me all of my life! Oh man, if an animal dies in a movie it is a crisis, if a person dies--oh well!! That's just nonsense. People over animals EVERY day and ANY day!

2Preacher,

I agree we are supposed to take good care of what has been given to us. :)

Hey, Preach! I'm a tree-hugger! My son told me so, and my son does not lie. Lemme at those boots!

Who wants to join me in a whine about coworkers who insist upon bringing their personal issues to work and discuss them - well complain at great length - with people in the office all day long?

Everything is hunky dory-Always anticipating a Challange

The preacher didn't shake my hand-O! spare me...

I almost drowned during my baptism-What's passed is passed. The alternate is eternity!

They will let anyone sing specials-Good! then they'll not ask me!

The preacher is preaching to me-Then, probably, the HS is telling me something.

Music is always rock-n-roll and loud-I slip out in that case. I won't even expend my energy in frustration.

No one ever calls me when I'm out-Have I asked to be remembered? The preacher isn't a mind reader.

It's too cold in there-I don't worship to comfortable besides, 'fool me once shame on them, fool me twice shame on me.' Come(dress)prepared.

All the mixed perfume smells drive me crazy-Breathe through your mouth.

Don't click here-OK I won't.

I would like to whine about a client who has retained our firm to purchase a golf course...and he hasn't paid his invoice for legal services rendered by our office in the past 4 months, is late to all of is appointments with us, and never takes responsibility for his shortcomings, doesn't ever inform us if his company is having financial issues in purchasing this golf course until it's too late to get an extension for anything...and every time he comes in to meet with us, he complains that his 12 week old cocker spaniel puppy chewed up his glasses, and that the puppy keeps biting his hands, and that he can't control the puppy because it's only 12 weeks and it likes to play a lot.

Maybe we aren't talking about the same song. There is a song that is out with those lines, but I would be so surprised if you heard it. Although, it could just be me. I'm not into secular music, I've only heard it because my sisters are into secular music. In my opinion, for ME, secular music is NOT good. It is all a mind thing for me and I need to keep my mind on things that are appropriate...you know? And positive, not alot of secular music is either...

and again, for everyone who reads this, that is my conviction...

And yet so many of our ilk are Uber-Republican and against any form of Universal health care.

Honestly, aside from them being against gay marriage and abortion, I really see no reason for Christians to be totally Republican.

Seeing as they also support so much greed. They are the ones wanting to bail out Wall Street fat cats before helping the average citizen.

And the whole "Iraq is the will of God" thing that Palin is touting scares the snot out of me.

Whine? Vent? Both? neither church involved...

As part of the only"universal health care"system the US offers I can tell you that we get only a smidgen more than what we pay for. Need to see a podiatrist? You get no choice in the matter and yeah- you drive an hour to the east. Need a neurologist? Mmmm again no choice... Drive 1.5 hours to the west. Urologist? see if you can get both at the same time--- he is at the same place as the neurologist.

Prescriptions. Free... if you want to take a number and sit for 2 hours(no exaggeration there at all folks!) and WAIT cause if you leave and miss your number being called you are taken off the list. Yeah, you can get it written out and carry it somewhere else and get generic for 3.00 and name brand for 9.00 but they have always given me a hard time about writing it out- too easy to just punch it into the system at the clinic.

Primary care docs? I have had 5 different ones assigned to me in the last 3 years. Did I mention the clinic itself is 1 hour south? Yeah. So primary care says I am at a Milestone age. Time for this and that and the other and if I want my thyroid further tested... Uh huh so I go out and tell them that I am an hours drive away can we just get the 4 appts a couple at a time? Nope the clinics, all in the same building and under the same authority, are not able to coordinate with one another on appointments available. So I have not had ANY of my "milestone" visits. Has anyone checked up to see why? Nope not a single one.

You have read this far and are wondering what the hay is for horses I am talking about- the only "universal health care" system the US offers. My husband is Active duty military. This is as close to socialized medicine as the US gets and believe me it is 100% better than nothing, but FAR from what my other relatives get.

Careful what you wish for. I would not wish this on *every* American. I am glad to have it but it really is a pain sometimes. I am a number not a person. No one in the clinic cares if I am there or not. No one follows up. I pay 50% of my dental out of pocket- I am dental phobic(really) and my dentist CALLS ME after a procedure to make sure I am okay. I pay 50% of my eye care and my eye doctor recently stayed open 30 minutes past closing to pluck a speck of something out of my husbands eye so he would not have to go sit in the ER and he called to follow up. I'll pay 50% for the CARE I get. It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with the quality of care you want. Sometimes we have to pay for that.

Sorry, it is a pet peeve of mine. Navy Brat Army Wife(30 years total military dependent)... Been there done that. Trust me you don't want the t shirt unless you got absolutely no shirt to cover your nakedness.
