My mom passed away last week and we were putting the final details to the service with the funeral director and I made the mistake of shaking his hand it was cold as ice.
Why can't these funeral guys get a clue. Warm you cold dead hand shaking hand in your pocket first

I seen a lot of it... just ain't here- I mean, HELLO!, whats the point of a whiners thread if people are just gonna start new threads about their individualized whines rather than gatherin' em all together here????
This should be the one stop whiner's thread- all happy threads could be floating in their respective folders, but put all the 'my pastor crosses his eyes when he preaches' and the 'my husband only takes me out to eat 6 days a week' and the 'my children need to just STOP being so perfect' already threads should be rolled into one- here!!!!!!!!!! Make FCN a rainbows and sunshine kinda place, ya know??

I think that whining has it's place in all aspects of life.
To be healthy...
We need a strong relationship with God.
We need exercise.
We need a good cry.
We need to be able to whine and to do it with worthy whine recipients.
I've got at least 3 of these down but for the life of me find it hard to find WWRs in real life.
This is where the whiners thread comes in handy. We read each others whine and either comment or move along.
I don't know about you but I get tired of happyhappy joyjoy Christians sometimes. What is really happening under that fake demeanor?
C'mon! Let it all out...........

There is a good reason for all Pollyanna attitudes. I know, I have lived Pollyanna.

There is someone on CW that is scaring me, because this person is so exuberant about their marriage and their spouse, and I can see myself (a few years ago) in what they are writing. I don't think that all people who are joyous are heades-in-the-clouds. As I have said before, I already lived my terrestrial hell as a child. Live since then, even though I lost one husband, reared two children alone, lived decades in and was catapulted out of a cult, etc., since my 18 (guess it was 19.5, really) years of terrestrial hell, I am prone to much "happyhappy joyjoy," and since being "catapulted out of the cult,' I am even more prone toward "happyhappy joyjoy."
I really can't see that happy people are fake at all. I think they are just enjoying life -- at least for those I know today.

Allrightythen! Lemme whine! (Too bad I'm allergic to cheese, or I'd have some with my whine.)
I'll whine about the fact that I slept so late that I missed services today.
I'll whine about the amount of money I have had to drop in my Stressed Box (although I am more pleased about the amount in my Mellow Box). But you don't want to read about what I am happy about . . .
I'll whine that we let people wear shoes on our white hardwood floor, and this morning, I noticed the damage.
I'll whine that people do not read the signs I put up at work.
