I just discovered this program Pray For A Miracle. It should be worth listening to for a little while anyway.

You still have 24 hours until Monday actually begins, but really more like 30 hours until you awake to a Monday.
So does work have you bummed?

Because my weekends are not much and I tend to dread work and have anxiety while there.

Mike I tried that link but I don't have anything to support the live programs I guess but I could hear a little of the recorded one of the week's message.

Then I got to thinkin about Joel Osteen. I went to the site and see that I could listen to some of his recorded services. I see him most Sunday morning's on TV and he has some tremendous upbeat messages. I had to register to the site which I did and there are a couple of good messages there for the offing to view. Those on the site include all the music and everything. The program on TV is a full half hour of his message. I really think you would like him Mike. You might want to take a look.

just type in joelosteen.com

How could things change for the better?
Is it easier to change the weekend or the weekdays?

Thank you Sharon, however my sound on my computer is still messed up, so I am still unable to listen. Hopefully I will be able to get that fixed someday, but for now I just have to live without.

While there are things that I could do, I am stuck in a rut right now.

Hay Mike I understant the rut of life I seem to have been in one for the past 12 years. However I am sure it can be turned around if I just get a hold of a few things I need to change my self. It is the change in me that seems harder to do than to point out the changes that need to be made else where.

I know it is hard to not let those set backs get to you no matter how far you have come the set backs seem to set you much farther back. At least that is how it is for me right now. Maybe the set backs are to get us to reflect on what we are doing and where we're going ????

Hi Lori and Dee Dee!

Mike bummer about the speakers!! Pooh!

Do you have cable TV? Do you get the discovery channel? At 7am your time is Hour of Power and then immediately following that is the half hour of from Lakewood Church. He is also on The Family Channel on Sunday night but it would be midnight your time. It's 11pm here.

You're right. I'll pray for you, you pray for me

Lord help us not to take our set backs so hard and help us to gleen the wisdom you are trying to show us and apply it to our life

Mike,
Ruts?
I imagine my self seeing this beatiful faraway peaceful mountainous meadow straight ahead as I travel along God's path. As I come closer I see that I must go down a deep ravine in to a dark valley before approaching the slope up to the meadow. I know that I must cross this valley in order to reach my goal of the meadow. So God offers His assistance to carry me throught the mire and bog of the watershed valley. It is by His will that I make it across and He mercifully carries me so that I may not tarry long in the dark. He is sure to climb along a bench that gives a view of hope of the picturesque land I long for. Eventually, He brings me up to His high places where I may drink in the refreshing scene of His glory and grace of His radiance.

This mental picture helps me when I am in a slump. Maybe it will help you. We don't see the valleys from afar. We only see our goal. If we were able to see the valleys from far away we might choose a diff path to travel to avoid the struggle.

It is midnight here so I am calling it a night.
Good night friend!
Lori

Thanks Sharon, I am in this moment of being on the fence as to what I should do today. Should I force myself to do stuff or just go back to bed instead? I guess that it is a no brainer however I am not feeling that well right now as my sinuses are bothering me and I am still tired. I could just as easily go back to bed as much as just going ahead and doing stuff.
