Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

I need all of your Assistance in dressing.....I'm not a fashion guru and frankly really don't care but...It is always nice to out dress your coworkers and boss .

Not to mention I think <clears throat> the Ladies I think may be more open to speaking to someone who isn't dressed in jeans and T-shirt and flip flops.

Since I have Blonde Hair and Blue Eyes, I'm not sure what colors tie into that or what would accent it.

I do have the basics ithink...Make sure the Belt and Shoes match in color and when wearing Business Casual (Dress Slack and Polo typish shirt) make sure they are not matching colors..

Ok...all pointers are welcome!!!

Chocolate brown is a good color to bring out the blue in your eyes. So is lavender.

Even blue looks great. You just have to find the right hue of blue. *gasp* I'm a poet and didn't even know it!!!

Seriously...some blue eyed guys can pull off navy blue and some have to stick to royal blue. I know someone who looks GREAT in cornflower blue.

Oh and...don't knock the jeans, tee shirt, and flip flops. Here that is everyone's uniform...including my pastors.

If you are comfortable in a three piece suit, then go for it. Regardless of what you wear, just make sure you're comfortable in it. It does no good to wear slacks and a polo if you're going to be fidgeting in it.

If you're clean and smell good (which is a HUGE bonus for me) then you'll catch the right person's eye.

My doctor has been trying some new "looks" lately, and he looks pretty good, if I may say so. His secret... he's letting his teenage daughter help him out. But seriously, I'm not that good with colors unless they're in front of me. But it sounds like you've got the basics down... oh, and make sure the shirts and pants aren't wrinkled (believe me, I know some people who have to be reminded)

Thank you very much for the input Ladies! Keep them coming!

G-N-M , that is what Dry Cleaners are for!!! <chuckle>

I have a Suit that I had tailored and such...then found out the only time I need to wear it at work is when I have business trips to DC and such <sigh>.

I think I am going to designate 1 day a month to wear it so I don't feel like I wasted my moolah!

Well my prefered attire are Jeans, T and flip flops (Even in the Winter ), although I have to admit, snow between the toes is fun for the first 2 seconds then it isn't so much :P.

Jeans, tee shirts, and flip flops work for me. *shrug*

Usually when you go shopping, there is a lady or two working in the men's department. Take a quick glance at her outfit; if she looks well put together, snag her and utilise her opinions. She may make colour suggestions that you wouldn't have originally thought of before.

I have a really pretty coralish colour top that I would not have picked on my own had the sales lady not brought it to my dressing room.

Smelling good is DEFINITELY a huge plus. I do believe there are better smelling colognes for guys than women!

Nice Tink...

Sunluv, what are the names? (Hates shopping unless there is an objective to accomplish) The cologne types are so not my forte.

I have some Drakkar Aftershave I use once in a while, I have been trying to find the actual spray version but have not yet. I bought it when I was in England <sigh>. I hope it wasn't found only there...although that would justify a trip !

Got it! Smell is Important!

Drakkar is sold here too. (make me sick)

Cool Water is good, so is Curve.

Main thing on smell is not to be overpowering, but still smell nice.

Pfft... gimmie the tshirt, jeans and boots/tennis shoes man any old day! Suits are OK... just not all the time :)

That said, navy blue and grey are colors that put others at ease and make them more likely to like you right away. My mom told me that once... she said always wear navy blue or grey to an interview because blah blah blah. She read it somewhere or something.

Other than that, I'm not very good at that whole warm/cool colors thing. I just know that I "should" wear golds, reds, oranges and browns...

Angel: Thanks for the Other selection Options! As far as flying out...lol, let me have a go at it first...if needed I'll call in reinforcements! lol.

Raivyne: <big grin> Well The only time I get to wear Jeans, Tshirt and tennis shoes is Casual Fridays (2 Days and counting). Navy Blue and Grey <Making notes>. I need to get more slacks so will look for some Navy Blue Wool (they seem to breath like Egiptian coton...I love it ), will check into Grey options as well. Thx!

Charcoal grey looks good on people with blue eyes. (I know this because I have blue eyes and am fairly fair skinned. Okay so i'm just downright white!)

I was going to say, be careful with your grey's. Some can completely wash someone out, no matter his colouring. Stick with deep and rich grey's...steel, charcoal, titanium...those colours. Manly colours. *snigger*

Yeah, plain old t-shirt grey isn't becoming on most people.

Yes, smelling good is a really wonderful thing! There are some guy's colone's that smell

wonderful! I always notice first, a guy's personality, then his eye color(preferably like it to be

blue...LOL!) and then whether or not he smellls good! I love the way Adidas for Men smells...

yeah, there really are better smelling colognes for men than women sometimes!

What's wrong with jeans, T-shirt, and flip-flops? I know lots of guys down here that wear them

and they have lots of Ladies that speak to them, I think that attire is perfectly fine! I mean you

can dress it up with a button up shirt and some sporty dress shoes, but that looks says, to me

anyways, that you are laid-back and relaxed...which is cool with me!

And Royal blues and Rich purples just makes blue eyes pop! But, you have Blonde hair and

Blue eyes so just about anything would look good on you! (Okay, so I'm partial! I can't help that

I like guys with Blonde hair and Blue eyes...LOL!)

Id suggest finding a very high end mens clothing store in your area, pick a non-busy day (not a Sat. or Sun.), go in and talk to the sales people, try on several things, ask how to change the look of one pair of pants by using different shirt colors, sweaters or jackets etc. They should be able to give you some very good pointers. You may or may not be able to afford their prices, but you can utilize their knowledge!

Oh I HATE that show!!!!

Just give me the tips and the money and let me pick my OWN stores. I do NOT want to have to pay $500 for a pair of jeans!

It's 5k, and you wouldn't have to pay that for jeans, or anything else, I'm sure. I have seen the folks on it shop in the bargin basements too. I'd just hate to be on the show because of the "secret" filming they do the couple weeks before!
