ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud Investigation Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud. Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote. "Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev. ACORN raided LINK Once again Obama's pals are in the news. Good grief, doesn't this guy have any friends that haven't been busted busted for one reason or another? I expect the Obamabots to dismiss this as usual, but I think it's because it's par for the course. For those who don't know who or what ACORN is, working for and with this group is Barack's "community organizer" that is his resume. Obama's ties to ACORN LINK ACORN's Political Action Committee has endorsed Barack. He has also tried to hide $800,000 he gave to them... oopsie, just a measley little $800,000: quote:
Obama's Campaign Paid Over $800,000 To ACORN For Get-Out-The-Vote Efforts, But "Mistakenly Misrepresented" Their Work To The FEC: Obama's Campaign "Paid More Than $800,000" To ACORN For Get-Out-The Vote Efforts; The Campaign Originally "Misrepresented" The Group's Work To The FEC. "U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat's campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports. An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. -- a subsidiary of ACORN -- worked in 'get-out-the-vote' projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary." (David M. Brown, "Obama To Amend Report On $800,000 In Spending," Pittsburgh Tribune Review, 8/22/08) While Serving On The Board Of Directors Of The Woods Fund, ACORN Received Thousands Of Dollars Of Grants From The Organization: The Chicago ACORN Received Grants Of $45,000 (2000), $30,000 (2001), $45,000 (2001), $30,000 (2002), And $40,000 (2002) From The Woods Fund. Barack coverup LINK The Woods Fund... that sounds familiar... that isn't the same group that the domestic terrorist Ayers and Barack worked together at is it? But that's ok, the statute of limitations for not liking someone who blew up places has expired.

Don't you know it is against the messiah's new gospel to speak or write about his friendships with and admiration for corrupt organizations, domestic terrorists, racial reverends, deacons of doom, anti-Jewish Muslims, felonious real estate agents, or angry wives? Its true. It is in the gospel of Hope, 2nd Chapter. Or maybe it was in the book of Change. I forget. It is right after the prohibition on mentioning the messiah's big ears and right before the prohibition on using the name "Hussein". Its that long passage about how the messiah shall never be held accountable for poor judgment in choosing friends and how he gets to make up whatever he wants about his past without being called a liar.

It's interesting that on BO's website he claims to have never been employed by ACORN and yet he has taught classes for them. How does that work? And yet he has defended them as a lawyer. Defending an organization with a pattern of fraud, how nice. Nevada had a task force, do other states? I wonder if all this will get caught before and or go through and then they pull the plug on all the fake votes after the election? Nov 4th & 5th will be maddening.

It seems that voter fraud is getting to be a daily event now. And yet the network news media and all but one cable news is down playing it. Wanna take a guess which one is not? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,435744,00.html http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/index.php?cl=10091950 And the news shows that have presented it, do so sparingly by not mentioning ACORN or if they do, by saying it is a non-partisan organization. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-balan/2008/10/09/cnn-omits-acorn-s-name-brief-voter-fraud-raid-vegas http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081009/ap_on_el_ge/voter_fraud The people that are doing this are stupid too, who uses the names of the starting line for the Dallas cowboys,,,,IN NEVADA?? This worries me that stupid people may illegally elect the next president.

The scope of fraud being committed is becoming so large that even CNN can't ignore it. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt authorities will be able to tie everything together. This outfit has shown itself to be very good at maintaining plausible deniability and letting field workers take the fall. -Robb

Ok, I feel like I'm breaking some sort of rule posting three times in a row, but the McCain campaign is finally calling attention to this with this new hard-hitting ad. I think they need to make a major ad buy and get that running as far and wide as they can. -Robb

What I find interesting is the fact that the 12 states that are reporting voter registration fraud are mostly swing states. Not only that but since these reports have started coming in Obama's poll numbers in those states have increased as well. I don't know if there is a correlation between voter registration and poll numbers but I just find it odd that his numbers have dramatically increased in those states reporting fraud.

First of all, this is voter *registration* fraud, not voter fraud. It is highly unlikely to make much difference come election time. Second, there is little evidence that this is anything more than ACORN workers defrauding ACORN itself by submitting fraudulent registration forms in order to earn more cash. I believe that, by law, all registration forms submitted to ACORN have to be passed on to the registrar whether or not they are believed to the fraudulent but even then, in many the incidents of fraud it was ACORN itself that identified the bad forms. I have no doubt there is some fraud going on, but over all, both sides have their black sheep. Black and poor neighborhoods are again being targeted by leaflets claiming that voters with outstanding traffic tickets and other warrants will be arrested at the polls if they turn up, and certainly in the last election there were plenty of examples of Republican illegal push-polling, and I believe it's already started again in places like Oregon. The bottom line with the ACORN stuff is that there is no evidence of system fraud, and it is estimated that 99% of ACORN submitted registrations are perfectly valid. If and when McCain loses this election, it won't be because of ACORN.

Mary Landrieu should have never been seated as a senator when Woody Jenkins had proof of enough fraudulent votes but the pubbies being the pubbies decided not to pursue. She just made sure to manufacture enough votes to get reelected. You do know why the graves are above ground in New Orleans? It's so they can go vote easier.

Does anyone else find it ironic that after widespread allegations of vote fraud in 2000 by Dems, that Republicans are playing the same tune before the 2008 balloting has even begun?

Actually the Dems were pretty bad in 2000, as well as 2004 - I think the Republicans are finally figuring out it makes a difference.

Katrina is a great outcome of years of Democrat vote fraud. They got the government they deserved unfortunately.

In what circumstances exactly? Well the ACORN problems for one have been going on since 2004 since at least 2004.
