I talked to Ginny this morning . . . . they didn't keep her and told her it was probably nerves causing her headaches and probably even the chest pains. CT-scan, x-ray and EKG were all fine. He gave her some pain meds and told her to see her doctor. She had a dental appt. this morning, then was going to try to go to work. She IS still in need of prayer. Good Friday morning, everyone . . . got quite chilly here last night, but is already warmed up to 69 degrees. Momma-Mo, you've inspired me to list some more things on eBay . . well, at least you've inspired me to start making preparations for that . . . I know it takes a lot of time to write up the listings, and post them, so we'll see. Right now I am taking photos.

Thanks for the updates about Ginny. I was concerned after yesterday's post. Leah, I always think I should list stuff on ebay, but it's so much more fun to buy! Although selling would mean more money to buy stuff.... I just called the doctors office. My doctors nurse answered for some reason. The office staff was probably still at lunch. But the nurse couldn't hear me until I picked up a different phone. I dropped that phone earlier, maybe I broke it. Thankfully she didn't hang up. My doctor was out, but she called him and called me back and said everything was completely benign. Thanks again for the prayers! Dee

Dee, that was great to hear! Well, I had intended to list stuff on eBay, and I may still, but not all the jewelry I spent a good hour or hour & a half photographing . . . the stuff on there is selling VERY cheap, and it just wouldn't be worth my time. I'd rather give it for gifts. In the meantime, I may photograph and list some clothing items & such.

It sounds like you were plenty busy without washing the windows Barb. I was feeling good because I mopped the kitchen floor and started a load of laundry. Sorry the ebay stuff didn't look promising Leah. Dee

Thanks Leah for letting people know how I was doing. Great news Dee! Thank goodness all was benign. My head and chest still have problems. The ER doctor said stress can do all kinds of things to people and I've had a lot both at work and at home. I've made an eye doctor appointment for Monday along with a doctor's appointment later that afternoon. Someone thought my eyes could use a check to see if this is a cause. One of the students came up to me and talked to me about the stress she is feeling and the headaches she has been having. This gave me a chance to say I am going through the same thing. The nursing students go through an intense training and it is VERY stressful for them. That's why several drop out. They are not prepared for the demands of an RN program. The chocolate in the candy jar is down. Check offs were this week and students were in need of chocolate to help out while waiting their turn to check off their skills. Ginny

Good Friday morning, everyone! . . . hey, did anyone notice I gave us two Fridays this week?? . . . as I started to type this post, I realized I'd already said 'good Friday morning' in here . . guess I was rushin' the week a bit. Ginny, I do hope you have called your doctor to get everything checked out. I guess is could be your eyes causing the headaches, but I doubt seriously that they would cause the other symptoms. I just found out a bit ago that I've not got Garrett today . . . wish I'd known that BEFORE I got dressed so I could have put my gym clothes on and gone on to gym. For some reason that just seems too much of an effort now. I may go later tho. I want to continue to take some photos and get some stuff on a local internet selling site as well as eBay. I'm not going to do the jewelry, but I can do some other things I need to get rid of. I REALLY need to clean my closet out. Might just go in and work on that now.

Well the doctor's office just phoned with my husbands x-ray results. Seems he has developed a bone spur, in his elbow. So the nurse made an appointment with a orthopaedic doctor. He goes in the end of this month. I remember him haveing problems with this same elbow last year. Altho it did'ent swell up like it did this year. I'm thinking he will have to have some type of day surgery, to remove it, once and for all. It's his right arm..go figure. The one he uses all the time. But if he is gonna want to go deer hunting, the end of Nov. he should get it done soon. At least we know what it is. And I guess it's not to serious. I was worried it was broke or sprained. Goodness..I sure don't have any ambition today. Think I will take my plan of reading..and go with that.

Dee, I'm so glad everything is okay. {{{{{{{Ginny}}}}}}} I hope that all that's wrong is stress and that you can find a way to reduce it. If work doesn't ask you to leave, you might want to consider looking for work elsewhere. You've got a lot of good qualifications that other employers would value. I like the idea of the chocolate. Barb, that pork roast and the sandwiches following, sound yummy. Ouch on the bone spur! I don't know if elbow bone spurs are the same as heel bone spurs but my doctor told me that surgery to get rid of the spur wouldn't necessarily be a permanent solution. It could very well reoccur. Linda, I'm sorry you wound up waisting so much time with the jewelry that's not worth selling. {{{{{{Linda}}}}} I'm sitting in Safeway, resting with a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of hot chocolate. I've decided, however, that the combination is too rich for me. Oh well. I was at Costco before this and got some Christmas gifts in addition to a birthday present for ds2. That was fun.

Maggie and you all thanks for the support. I agree with Maggie Barb ouch on the bone spur. They hurt from what I've heard. Hubby was upset with me for making an eye doctor appointment and an appointment with my regular doctor for Monday. Said I should have asked him first. I got paid yesterday I figured we would have enough money. He was all over me about the money it would cost. Then at the football game last night I find out that plans are ongoing for a out of town trip and a shopping spree for Sunday and Monday for hubby and the boys. And the youngest has Homecoming this weekend and there were expenses involved for that. Geesh will there ever be a time when the income I earn can be spent by me for things I see are important and not get rimmed about it. Ok maybe this post should have gone in the complaint thread. Ginny

Your husband is being extraordinarily selfish. In fact, he is being abusive by trying to deny you the medical attention you need. Stand your ground, Ginny. Your need is genuine, his is not. Don't let him get away with his selfishness. {{{{{{{{Ginny}}}}}}}}} What's happened with the job? I think you said the 30 days are up. Do you still have a job? I have a busy day ahead of me of tidying, cleaning and cooking. And I'm very tired. I didn't get up till 10:00 this morning. I think I could have slept till 3:00 or longer.

I emailed my bosses Thursday asking when the review would be and they said this next Thursday, October 16th. And did you know that day is Bosses Day. Hubby did give me some money to go to garage sales this morning which was great as I found some more x-mas gifts and I believe my Christmas shopping is done now. I also bought a table I can use for a sewing table. I've been wanting to start sewing and needed a small lightweight cabinet like table to put my portable sewing machine on. I will clean the office and set the table against the wall that way the chair I use for the computer can alternate as a sewing chair and my table is set up all the time. I can use the office closet for my craft supplies. If I do end up not having a job there are a lot of craft projects I'll start as soon as I give the house a good all over cleaning and organizing job. I got projects in mind. I will not look for another job until after the Holidays are over. Instead I will use the time for a visit to see my parents and help my mom with what she is doing to downsize her home and in getting rid of her store items. I've learned a lot at work and no one can take away from me the skills gained from being employed. And God has used this job to build up my faith in Him and to know without a doubt I can trust Him. Praise God. He is good. Ginny P.S. Dave does need clothes for his big body. Clothes he can't find here in our town but will be able to find when they go out of town this weekend. Just wish our communication was better and some of that could be my problem as I've gone to bed and slept to handle my stress and haven't been up talking with him.
