I had a friend laugh at me over that then once he got to thinking about it he realised they are kinda creepy.

Cookie Monter was my favorite. And his Monsterpiece Theatre was always my favorite segment... I heard they stuck a notice on the Old School Sesame St DVDs about not being suitable for children and one of the reasons for this was Cookie Monster was promoting unhealthy eating cause he'd always eat the pipe or whatever at the end of monsterpiece theatre. That and he promoted diabetes eating cookies all the time

LOL, now that is very ironic!

I love Sesame Street, though it is a bit embarrassing when the songs get stuck in my head and I begin singing them throughout the house (like Murray has a little lamb). Then hubby looks at me strangly and I just have to shrug my shoulders, this is my life. It is crazy to me that some of the same adult real people characters are still on there from when I was a little girl.

My favorite character is probably Elmo and Count

LOL, I do that too, Chelle! And, so does my hubby so it's a little less embarassing.

And I am still, to this day, mourning the death of Mr. Hooper!!!

I don't really remember Mr. Hooper. I remember Mr. Hanford though.

LOL! I have Sesame Street songs stuck in my head too ... and I have no excuse because I don't have kids! I remember this one from back in the day:

I always thought it was a really cool song.

I remember that one! I was watching a certain animated TV show within the past 2 years that had that in the show for some reason. I have no clue why they had included it at all.
