Hello to all, This is my very first post so I have not even introduced myself yet. I am going to have a mammogram at 10 AM central time, and we all think the results will be abnormal and that I'll be sent for a more thorough diagnostic mammogram at a larger medical center. I found a quite large mass in my breast and that is what has started the ball rolling. I want to ask all of you to pray for me to have courage during all of this. I am very frightened as you can imagine. I asked God to help me this morning and as I sat down at the computer, I ended up here. I need your prayers badly. I am alone, no one is going with me. I have asked for God's mercy, but I also want His will to be done. Please pray with me for His perfect outcome whatever that might be. In Christ I ask it.

We're glad you are here marstancy. Father, thank You that marstacy seeks Your will. Thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us or forsake us. Be with marstacy as she goes for this test. Cause this mass to be nothing, if this is within Your will. Cause all to go well with any treatment she may have. Whatever Your will is in this walk each step with her, and hold her close Lord. Pour her cup to overflowing with Your blessings Lord. In Jesus precious name. Amen

sparkleingsnow, Thank you so much for your precious prayer. I am without a church right now, and I am quite involved in taking care of my 92 yr old mother who lives with me (I am 61) so that is another reason why I need prayer. If I have cancer, I don't know what to do with mother. She is totally homebound and quite frail. Please continue to remember us both in prayer. With gratitude, ms

I understand marstacy, I take care of my 83 (this month) year old mom who is also very frail. (I'm 60). Bless your heart. Father, we ask for Your care for both marstacy and her mom. Help them in every way that You know is best, and suround them with Your love. Draw them ever closer to You. Bring christian friends to help uplift them Lord, and do all that You know is best. We thank You and praise You. In Jesus precious name. Amen

Lord, please be with marstacy during this time in her life. If it is in line with your perfect will, I pray that you will let her mamogram reveal that the mass in her breast is not cancerous or of any significant concern. Place your healing hands upon her, and cause this mass to go away on its own or at least with minimal intervention. Whatever happens, Lord God, please bless marstacy with courage and strength for whatever road might lie ahead in regards to this mass so that she will meet all challenges head-on and knowing that you are at her side at all times. Surround her with family and friends who will help to keep her spirits light and give her support. Let her doctors, nurses, and other medical staff involved with this mamogram treat her with kindness, gentleness, and respect, and may they give her the best care possible for her condition. Most of all, Lord, remind her that you are with her in all things. Through sickness and health, you never abandon your children. Comfort her, and help her to continue to put her faith in you, and may her faith in you grow stronger as a result of all of this. I pray for this in the name of your Beloved Son, The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thanks to all of you for the beautiful prayers. You have touched my heart deeply. I am back from the mammogram and there are many calcifications in both breasts. Those can be ok or can be a problem. That basically means that I can have cancer in both breasts, one breast, or neither. In other words, I don't know anything regarding the medical diagnosis, but I do know that God will use this to teach me and train me and bless me. I will not hear back until early next week what the radiologist recommends, but I expect for him to say that further testing will be necessary. I felt God's presence and love and strength during the hour I was there, and all of you have been so encouraging. I can't believe a forum like this exists. Mature Christians that I can actually talk to and share with. God has blessed me so much today just by bringing me to you. Continue to remember me and my little mother in prayer. May god bless you abundantly today and every day.

Father, Thank you for your unconditional love for us all. Please consider the above prayers for marstacy to be mine, too. We ask for that you cause whatever is best to take place regarding the upcoming exam and regarding the mass. We ask that you heal anything that is wrong and cause the medical procedures to go smoothly while giving her extra faith and peace of mind throughout it all. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray for marstacy . Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers! Yesterday I felt a sense of relief that the first step was over but this morning the relief is gone and has been replaced by fear. I am assuming that the radiologist will review my mammogram and say that it is abnormal and suggest further diagnostic testing given what the mammogram plainly shows. I think about my 92 yr old mother who needs me so badly, my only daughter, and my 4 grandchildren. I am so sad when I think about the impact to them IF the end result is cancer. When I take my eyes off Jesus, I sink. Pray that I will keep my eyes firmly on HIM. Please pray that God will surround me with His grace and mercy and protection and lift me up. You are all marvelous and I thank God for leading me to this forum. In Christ I will rest.

Good Morning, marstacy! I was happy to see you in some other threads... Don't forget you can never sink for our LORD Jesus holds you up -- PRAISE HIM! Thank You Father for marstacy's love and faith. May she continually know that You are always with her. In Jesus' precious name. AMEN. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid." And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him... Matthew 14:27-31

Thank you, Father, for the prayer ministry here. Thank you, Father, for those who continue to pray for me and my mother. Thank you, Father, for those who pray for each other and those in the world. Thank you, Father, for what you are teaching me. Please, Lord, increase my faith and help me keep my eyes on You. When you look at me, Father, I pray that you see Jesus and not me. I am unworthy. It is in my Precious Savior's name that I pray. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, I love you.

In my human condition, I am terrified of having breast cancer. My spirit reaches out for the Everlasting Arms of God My Father through Jesus Christ. Hold me close, Father, and lift me up when I am most afraid. I want Your will, not mine. Give me strength, O God! Lift me up when I stumble. My face stays in the dust most of the time because stumbling is a constant in my life. In the name of Jesus My Savior, I humbly ask for mercy, but Your will be done. I am afraid to say "choose the path for me", but in faith I am saying that. Forgive my sins, cleanse me, and give me a pure heart. Increase my faith for I am weak. I can do nothing without You. You, Father, are all and everything. I give You praise and glory. Jesus, sweetest name I know. It is in His Precious Name that I pray.

Lord, thank you that Marstacy is doing the right thing and getting expert Dr.'s help. I ask that you give her a peace and also the best Dr.'s. I ask that You alone take her thru this and give her a calm spirit, and a complete trust in You. IN Jesus Name, amen p.s. Marstacy my sister had breast cancer at the age of 28. The fact that you are 61 puts you in a better category. It is when your hormones are less active and the cancer, if it is there, doesn't grow the same way as a young person. You have your age "on your side" in this. I am praying that God heal you completely and that all the fear leave you, IN Jesus name, amen.

Thanks to all for continued prayers. I need them! dagmarharris, unfortunately I used hormone replacement therapy for many years up until age 60 so that definitely puts me into a higher risk group. My doctor started me on a blood pressure pill, Norvasc 5 mg, and today I just feel horrible (I started it 5 days ago)! I am praying that God will remove the side effects of this new medication IF that's is what is causing me to feel this way. Precious Lord, today I feel sick and depressed, but I am going to Praise Your Holy name anyway! It does not matter how I feel. What matters is what you have promised your children. You have promised never to leave us or forsake us, and I trust you. Increase my faith and bring me closer to You. Be with me every step of the way because I can do nothing in my own strength. In the flesh, I am afraid. Help me to walk in the spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.
