another SC ruling besides Roe v. Wade. What paper she reads or where she gets her info from. She has'nt a clue to what is going on in Pakistan and when a voter asked her about it, she blames it on "gotcha politics" and on the economy, she is so far in over her head, it would be funny if she was'nt the VP chioce. I heard Bay Buchanon a Republican say she should do like George Bush and admit in the debate she is not knowledgable about these things and be herself. Being dumb is ok now? guess it worked for GWB. Why not?

There are 5 Republican women senators, there are 20 Republican women congresspersons. Arizona, McCain's state has a state legislature which is almost 1/3 women. And he wants us to believe this is the best he could find nationally? 25 women with experience at the national level and he goes with the mayor of Smallville! What won McCain over to pick her? It certainly wasn't her foreign policy! "Is that something you buy from an insurance company?" My wife who is going for her PhD said whe was an embarrassment to women and another Barbie who reinforces stereotypes of women being dumb and uninformed.

It's fairly obvious she is a neophyte when it comes to dealing with the national press, but you don't become the head of the state Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, defeat longtime politicians, and become the governor of any state by being good looking or not knowing anything. Biden makes gaffes like that all the time, and he has been a Senator since Sarah Palin was ten; that is what I find to be scary.

What I find so amusing is that Palin is now the bullseye on the target rather than McCain. You even have the Senator from Illinois in the debate saying how much the two agree. The liberal left is scared out of its mind by Sarah Palin. Probably for good reason.

I think Sarah Palin makes that a difficult position to take seriously. I sincerely doubt that she's alone in that respect, but it's amusing and potentially disastrous for her to be on the ticket.

Another TRASH Palin thread. ho hum. It's perplexing how someone who posted so many comments about wanting to hear her say something about Jesus would even post something like this. This kind of insulting in no way resembles Christianity or anyone interested in Jesus. It follows the typical liberal mindset too. If you can't find any dirt on them, and they haven't done anything bad, and they have upstanding moral character and have made great accomplishments in their life, just call them dumb. Fred Thompson this morning blistered CBS for the idiotic Couric question and how no Senator would have been able to answer that unless they were prept. Then the correspondent raised the question about the number of republican's that were concerned about her. Thompson brilliantly flipped the tables on her and said what kind of numbers are we talking about here? The lady just sat there dumbfounded like "how dare you ask me that" She tried to cut the segment as fast as she could after that but Thompson kept wringing her out. So funny to see the media get the same treatment they give Palin. At least she doesn't yell at people when she is not sure of the answer like Obama does http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty6krf18huA&NR=1 This guy is not ready to lead. He became a hot head when he couldn't answer a simple question posed by an elderly lady.

It's not hard to figure out they are afraid of Palin being the same kind of conservative loose canon.

You don't trust me that I feel that the situation is both amusing and potentially disastrous, or you don't trust me that I feel that there are other dummies in positions of authority? Either way, "um, all of them" is a tough one to defend and I appreciate the difficulties you must overcome to do so with such uncompromising grit.

Blaming the media still does not cover up her not being informed on the issues. She keeps going back to Katie and looking more and more....... dumb. On the SC issue, she herself has a case before them. Duh! On the newspaper, how about a local paper? Pakistan and the economy, just say she will get smart aides. I'm expecting her to come out and attack Joe, have nothing of substance to say. and when it is all over blame Gwen for being black and writitng a book on race and politics. quote:

She is too embrassing for all women, moms & college goers, etc.

No. I would never be able to claim that Obama was anything close to well-informed. A person whose only mantra consists of one word having just 6 letters, without EVER defining what that word is going to mean in our lives, is hardly demonstrating being well-informed. But, YOU claim to be well-informed. So, let me ask you two questions that baffle me. The biggest gripe of the American people is the rampant pork barrel earmark process that is so endemic to Washington that they even put 170 million in the Wall Street bail-out bill for rum makers in the Virgin Islands... raising the costs even more. Do you REALLY believe that Obama will change this? If so, HOW? Secondly, we have NOT been hit by terrorists on this soil since 9/11. CHANGE in this condition is bad. When Obama brings change to this status by taking the pressure off of them overseas, will you come back to apologize to us? quote:

I bet you'd let your daughters watch Sarah IF she was OBAMA's running mate.....and had a (D) next to her name instead of an (R)! and, embarrassment to moms? GET A LIFE.....she's a ROLE MODEL! just because you don't like her politics, and are ready to vote for a socialist, doesn't make her a bad role model!

When Obama brings change to this status by taking the pressure off of them overseas, will you come back to apologize to us? First, I'm interested, not necessarily well-informed. I live in China, so conveniently accessing credible news on the internet is an occasionally arduous process. As such, I have a question: is the biggest gripe of the American people earmark spending? It's a very tiny fraction of the budget. I'm not certain that it's so important. McCain has been running on it, but I don't know that his message has gotten much traction. His hypocrisy on the issue in selecting "thanks for the bridge" Palin can't have helped. Earmarks haven't really been a key issue for Obama, as far as I can tell, so I don't think he's going to spend a ton of time on it. Bin Ladin seems to be doing fine in Pakistan. We all know how Obama feels about that. As such, I'm not sure what you're talking about in the second bit.

My wife told me this morning that her class last night one of her fellow students told her that as a Republican woman, she feels insulted that John McCain would think so low of her as a woman to have Sarah Palin to represent her as a Republican woman. Of course CA's 55 electoral votes were never in question to begin with but Obama's margin of victory is probably going to be HUGE! See, that is pretty much what I think of Obama; as a middle age white guy, I am insulted he would think so low of me as to think Biden could represent me.
