Hi! I'm new here. I love NCIS! It's one of my favorite shows. Members of my family were in the Navy, and these NCIS guys are hero's in real life. It's just so amazing and complex. They are all my favorites, I think. I have them recorded so I can watch older shows over and over again. It is on about 10 times a week here. Sub Rosa is one of my fav episodes, wow. And Grace Period really was intense, yes, my eyes were watery after Paula saved all their lives. I just adore Ziva, she's so cute and funny. Her saying are so entertaining.

Gibbs meeting his dad was un-expected for sure. And my husband loves the Waltons. Great episode, although I had it figured out wrong. I thought the kid was his, but he was not. How sad that the husband did not believe her, and those boys were attacked for nothing. Yes, Gibbs seeing his car....his face....Gibbs should have visited his Dad long ago. Did you see Tonys face as the car was speeding away. Can't wait till next week...

Anyway, glad to find NCIS fans here. Good to meet you all.
Cindy

I had to work this week and missed the show. I also forgot to set my DVR. What happened this week, other than Ralph Waite showing up as Jethro's dad?

If you've got a good connection, I'm pretty sure you can watch the full episode at CBS.com.

It would be better to watch it too. There's too much to explain and a lot would get lost.

The problem is, I have a dial up modem at home so that won't work. At work where I do have a high speed connection, I don't always have enough time to watch an entire show. I work as a police dispatcher.

When I checked on watching the Unit online, they had full episodes and small snippets. I imagine they would have the same thing for NCIS.
And sometimes shows, like LOST, have a synopsis guide, you could check that for NCIS too.

Either I'm getting smarter, or I'm getting to know the writers' style. I figured right off that the ex-marine wasn't the killer.

Yeah Tricia, besides, the ex-marines car was still moving towards the second location (on the screen), he didn't have time to do it there. Sad how he felt he had to cover up for that one guy, and they all paid for it. He should have gotten the marine in re-hab.

You know, Tony comes off as goofy, but he really figures things out way ahead sometimes. The way they found out the guys secret cell phone was amazing. I really liked the way Tony and the bunch were re-enacting in the basement. And Phosphorus on the shoes. I just love Abby.

Jeff, last week's show was really good, you have to try to see it. Gibbs went to his hometown, to investigate the death of a young man. The whole Gibbs and his dad part was great. Showed through a lot of flashbacks how Gibbs met his wife, his younger life and more. Gibbs re-united with his Dad after years of misunderstandings. It was touching.

I knew it wasn't the marine as soon as they started talking about him testifying against a drug dealer. And you know, real life or fiction I would NEVER taunt and ex-Marine!!!!!

I watched 4 episodes yesterday (3 on USA + the regular one on CBS). All of them were good. Again, I have no idea why I didn't start watching until recently. It is now one of the few shows I watch along with the original CSI along with 24 when it returns.

This episode had some loose ends. How did the perp get the camera in the lunch box, for example.

Last nights episode was a bit different. Maybe because it is close to Oct 31? Didn't seem like the usual ones. Even from the very beginning! Had to cover my eyes more than just a few times. Yeah, that's a good one about the lunch box, doesn't seem possible.

And why? No reason, just a band guy. Just to do it to be known? I was kinda stumped at the end as to why.

I think Ducky nailed it about WHY - the guy was psycho. He had a severe case of narcissistic something-or-other.

I liked how they kept his name out of the news because of "possible terrorist connections". The whole reason the guy killed was to gain notoriety. I think that was the funniest part of the whole episode.

Yeah, that was great poetic justice! "We may never know his name." Classic!

I watched the Hiatus episodes on USA, 3 in the correct order the other day. I always see new things when I watch them again. I love those episodes, because it's all about Gibbs, and his life. And no one from the team knew of his life back then. Those episodes are really heart wrenching. Especially when Ziva makes him remember. I never quite understood the ending of why they allowed the bomb to go off at sea. So know one would see? And that is why Gibbs quit for a while.

That was really good! When the guy told Gibbs that he would be remembered and that Gibbs would be forgotten, the look on Gibbs' face should have been a hint that he had something up his sleeve. He always does!

Yep, a known glitch. We'll have to live with it for now.
