Please view my earlier post. The KKK are alive and active in a neighboring borough here in PA.
One of my ex's brothers was in the KKK. He didn't like me (I'm black/Irish/Cherokee)... but I attempted to stay away from him anyway. He seemed wimpish without the rest of them.
Yeah, they operate in the shadows it seems. I do believe they marched through Boyertown as recently as 5 years ago. There is a committee called Building a Better Boyertown that has done a lot to fight them.

If Obama wins...and wrecks the nation...do you think that will..
greatly grow the mebership of the KKK?
somewhat grow the membership of the KKK?
or have no effect whatsoever?

Unless a white person has a very special relationship with a black person, it's not likely that either one will blame all the country's ills on racism. Racism is a very touchy subject in most interracial conversations, not at all like discussing the weather. Unless you know the other quite well and trust them it's not something most of us can discuss in everyday interracial discussions.
Just my opinion, for whatever it's worth.

Many (most?, all?) gang members of all races are basically cowards when alone. They need the presence of the group to feel confident and brave.
